I appreciate this exploration of emotions. while I think the entirety of the book is worth reading, I would also say that it can also be worth while to jump to a certain topic, when one is dealing with that topic in their life.

Unsurpassable writing on emotions

Excellent prose on explaining emotions their impact and necessity for us as humans and how God doesn't want us to deny our emotions but rather is glorified by our emotions as revealed in worship. A must read.
