Unsurpassable writing on emotions

Excellent prose on explaining emotions their impact and necessity for us as humans and how God doesn't want us to deny our emotions but rather is glorified by our emotions as revealed in worship. A must read.

I appreciate this exploration of emotions. while I think the entirety of the book is worth reading, I would also say that it can also be worth while to jump to a certain topic, when one is dealing with that topic in their life.

A masterpiece on emotions

A masterpiece on the subject of emotions. The authors helped me understand many of the complex emotions I encounter. The authors provided clarity, thoughtfulness, depth, and many valuable, real-life examples. It is a wonderful and very practical read. The narrator is among the very best too.

I enjoyed the practicality of the last chapters where the author covered the emotions of worry, anger, fear, and guilt.

I appreciated the out loud thinking about what is happening in the mind of a person who journeys through these emotions.

This book helps people process through the multitude of emotions we carry each day and helps one to be aware and live more fully.

Very good, biblically sound, good narrator

Very helpful in identify and dealing with emotions (mostly negative emotions). I appreciate the work these CCEF counselors put into this. The content is biblically sound and offers some practical questions at the end of each chapter. I also found the narrator easy to listen to, not annoying or lulling.

Emotions Stuffer

Love the comparison to Jesus and the encouragement to examine our emotions. A friend and I went thru this together and the questions were good for discussion
