By far the most helpful book on this issue

I’ve read a pile of books on depression, happiness, loneliness and every other emotional issue you can think of. A lot of them seem to get stuck either in pschobabble (accompanied by hard to understand diagrams) or they are vague and beat around the bush on how to deal with the issue.

That’s not this book. DeJesus gets straight to the point and is very direct on how rejection can not only impact your mind but also your relationships- with others and with God.

This is a very practical book and extremely helpful. I also enjoyed the author’s narration. Well done!

This is an eye opening book. For those who are willing to look at their brokenness straight in the eyes. Very clearly explains why you are experiencing unhealed areas in your life. Make sure to answer the questions at the end of each chapter and explore them. This is very important. The healed heart will require not just learning about yourself. But also facing your fears and working through your hurts.
