LIFE CHANGING

Even if you don't believe in channeling (I don't), look beyond this and hear the message. This is a life altering book. It has truly transformed my way of looking at the world and thus myself. I cannot say enough about this book. I use it like a bible! Read it!

Excellent - powerful information

Excellent book with some very thought provoking ideas about the way you create your own life. I've found this book explains things on a much simpler method than some other spiritual texts I've read. I loved CWG series for example but found the information is this book easier to understand. It's my new favorite.

The only downside is this book is divided into 2 volumes and you must purchase the second volume separately. I didn't realize this and it ended rather abruptly. No worries though, it's definitely worth it IMO. This is powerful information if applied.

I really liked the narrator also. His tone and voice seemed to really work for this type of material. I'm looking forward to V2.

Truly Exceptional

Acquired with an open heart but a skeptical mind. I am so grateful that I finally purchased this. A book...or book on tape...that is enlightening, clear, and can be integrated permanently into your consciousness or should I say can alter your consciousness forever.
The Hicks explain some basic concepts...or channel...about the Law of Attraction that were missing from my understanding. It is as if they stepped into my mind and answered some major questions.
I could not recommend this more enthusiastically.

A Must Read

...for anyone looking to transform or renew their lives. A book you can listen to again and again to regain focus on what's important.

Only draw back... if you're the type that feeds off of tonality to stay engaged, then the author's voice may take some getting used to as it is very monotone.

It makes sense if you can get past the hocus pocus

I originally bought this book some time ago but didn't get that far into it before the author lost credibility with me. The challenge I faced with it, was that the intro is Esther Hicks explanation as to how she came up with all of this: She's channeling a being called "Abraham" ...

For me personally.... I like theories, and that is what the law of attraction is, a theory... that are based on research, studies, naturalistic observation.. life experience (which ok, it does mention in the book), or whatever... but I just need more down to earth stuff to back this up - which is available in other books and dvd's. Whereas this really is just, Abraham says this... so this is so...

HOWEVER....

Take away that hocus pocus and it does make sense. For example.... I don't believe in god/ jesus (and the story behind it) But when you look at the ten commandments, they are all very good principals to live by for a variety of reasons, not just because God said so.

The narration in this book by Jerry is quick, it's as though he doesn't stop for punctuation.

If you can get past that, and just take in what they say about the law of attraction, I think everyone would benefit... If you're still rattled by the whole channeling of Abraham thing, look for other books on the Law of Attraction to compliment this one.

Small nuggets that helped me understand better

Great book. You'll get some mini nuggets that'll help you understand better & create the life you want.
However, you need to get book 2 for more techniques.

The information I found very helpful in this book. However to listen to the monotone talk took some time getting used to. Once you get past that you can enjoy the book
