Needed Editing Badly

Had potential, but felt like it went down blind alleys over and over again. Also, I highly suspect it was written by a European because of clearly non-us references... kilometers, customs instead of security... distracting.

Insta-love

It was nice to know this was a re-do with “duel” audiobook narration. This is my first time reading and listening with “duel” audio version! The story plot is okay to me but the characters, Virginna and Luke, I wanted something more. Something was lacking that I couldn’t truly felt the love between them. I felt more of infatuation, to be honest. Perhaps, it needed more character development in order feel that vibe. It was still enjoyable to read and listen, though. The duel with Ava Lucas and Dane Anderson narration was quite pretty good together! I wouldn’t mind listening these two again. Ava Lucas could be pair with anyone and sound great. Overall, If you are into insta-love, a cowboy gentleman, low angst & low drama, this book is for you.

A Beautiful Love Story, Must Read.

I'd been looking forward to Author Sandra Sigfusson's debut on Audible after reading some of her chapters on her website. She did not disappoint. Narrator Ava Lucas was spectacular. This is a love story that will restore your faith in fate and the pursuit of happiness. The narration literally (practically) pulled my heart into the process as the story moved along. How the title of the book ties into the story will make you melt. Now I'm looking forward to the next Audible release by this author, The Voice From 808, Bring it on Sandra Sigfusson because I can always use more feel good stories, especially with narration by Jacob Morgan.

Cowboy meets City girl

If you’re in the mood for a sweet cowboy meets city girl romance, this is the book for you. It had me from page one. The narrator was awesome. The steam level was on a medium level for me. I really enjoyed it!

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!

I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy, fast paced romance story. It is my first book written by Sandra Sigfusson and it will not be my last. I enjoyed her writing style, the storylines she created are interesting and original, her characters are nicely developed, they are realistic and easy to connect with. I adored both leads, Virginia and Luke, they met while attending a dinner at a work conference. Virginia accompanied her boss to the conference and Luke was one of the event sponsors. The two were from different worlds, he is a swoon- worthy cowboy from Texas, she is a city girl from Washington state but there was an instant attraction when they first meet. The two really hit it off, the chemistry between them was electric and smoking hot. Thankfully her boss was a good sport about her disappearing on him at the conference. Btw, I loved her nickname, B3, for him and her analogy of how she came up with it. After spending a hot weekend together Virginia and Luke want to give their relationship a go, try the long distance thing and see each other as much as possible. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is nicely plotted and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, some great humor, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Sandra Sigfusson, thank you for this fabulous story.

Ava Lucas is a wonderfully talented narrator and voice artist. She does an awesome job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own distinct voice and personality. She is great at covering both male and female roles, making it easy to follow along knowing who is who. You could hear how much heart she puts into her work as she captures the characters emotions and projects them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen🎧

Enjoyable Meet-Cute!

This is my first audiobook by Sandra Sigfusson and I enjoyed the light-hearted meet-cute,insta-love story between Luke and Virginia! The trials and tribulations of long distance relationships and the struggle to meld two people’s lives together who are very different in all aspects was challenging for them both but true love has a way of working out! Ava Lucas’s performance was great! She easily switched from male to female character voices without a hitch. Overall this was a light enjoyable listening experience.

Loved the updated duet narration

This book has updated audio and it just adds so much to the story.
Luke and Virginia meet at a conference and are instantly taken with each other. Their cross country romance has a lot of obstacles but they can’t stay away from each other.
The addition of Dane Anderson as Luke helped bring this story to life, the duet narration with Ava Lucas is well done.. I enjoyed the update from the original.

sweet heat

I enjoyed seeing this couple's relationship develop and grow as they navigated their new dynamics. I liked that they were able to take to talk their differences out and get stronger together. The secondary characters are just as engaging as the main characters. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.
