good storyline

I’m enjoying the story but I’m wishing I was reading it myself. The pausing in narration is really annoying

Great read

I thought that the pacing of the story was a bit weird. But overall I loved the story! Samantha Summers and Curt Bonnem did an amazing job making the characters come alive! At times I want to jump in a slap some characters. Would recommend.

Like a high school soap opera

I actually got caught up in the story, but it reads like a high school soap opera. Hard to believe the characters are in their mid twenties and up. The narrator isn't the worst, but it's a bit like William Shatner reading a romance. The story kept my interest, though, and I bought the next one.

Overall a fantastic series

This first book is a lot of plot building, tension, and angst. You learn about the FMC, Harlow, and see how much of a bad A she is. She is resilient and takes no crap, although she does get a lot piled on. You learn about the other characters as the series goes on, so like Brad, Poppy, and Nana beg Harlow, just give them a chance! You'll love them and the series.

addictive rags to riches why choose romance!

a reread, but a first time listen! i adore this series and the audios absolutely met my expectations. i forgot how gut punching the boys and jacinta are to harlow in the first book, but ahhhhh it’s so addictive and i cant wait to finish listening to their story! the slow burn is absolutely worth it, i adore getting to really meet and understand each characters motivations through their POVs.

curt bonnem and samantha summers were magnificent & i was impressed by the ease I had picking up these narrators voices for each of the many characters!
