A Wealth of Information

I loved this book. It was a little scientific at first but then the specifics into each disorder is mind blowing. It’s so in alignment with the medical mediums recommendations. Heal the gut and much of the skim will follow. I loved some of the herbal and supplement recommendations and added them in. On the journey to healing

Evidence-based, immunology-informed perspective

Dr. Dattner provides an evidence-based, immunology-informed perspective on how to treat skin conditions at the level of the underlying cause instead of just throwing drugs at symptoms. Skin conditions are not isolated, they are an indicator of imbalances actively going on in the body which need to be addressed. His methods treat skin issues from the ground up, at their source. Instead of creating side effects like gut dysfunction and other chronic issues, side effects of his approach include better organ health, better brain function, better mood, better digestion, etc. Highly recommended.

This book should not have the word dermatology in

From the little clip, you'd think there was some type of medicine to be mentioned in the first hour of listening. Instead, you get recommended 12-step programs and a belief in a higher power.

I cannot listen past the first hour because the description of it and the clip were so deceiving, my blood is boiling.

However, if you're an anti-vaxer with strong beliefs in the power of the universe, you might really enjoy this.

Doesn’t Deliver

Mostly about religion and mildly sexist. Pulls you in initially with science, then makes a HARD right tun. Very sad as this was the only audiobook i could find about dermatology written by a doctor at the time. Very disappointed. :(
