Over the past 50 years, rates of autoimmunity and chronic disease have exploded: Currently, one in two-and-a-half American children has an allergy; one in 11 has asthma; one in 13 has severe food allergies; and one in 36 has autism. His ultimate question, from the point of view of a doctor who has decades of experience treating countless children, is what we are really doing to children when we vaccinate them.

best book on the immune system

This is the best book on learning how the body works and how illnesses should be handled.

Very informative

I read it on kindle and Audible but had to order the hardback so I could share. The very best wellness information comes from Dr Zach Bush and Dr Cowan

How do I find a doctor like him?

I wholeheartedly agree with him. I happened to read this the same day when my 18 months daughter got sick for the first time. It gave me courage to stay with her at home and comfort her rather than run to a doctor. And, after two nights like that, she was, of course, fine.
I love this book. I really want to find a pediatrician like Dr Cowan. But not sure if they exist in the country I live in.

He does a great job at breaking down the origins of disease and discussing how vaccines can further overwhelm ones immune system.

Every parent should listen to this book

Pro vaccine or not this book shares the truths about chemicals and their effects. We want our children to ‘struggle’ to build resilience, but are we letting them struggle through the right things? I’m now re-thinking my own gut health + getting back on track with the way I treat our wholistic health.

Great read!

I appreciated this book soooo much! Although I already had my opinion about vaccinations, Dr. Cowan gives clear reasoning, examples and evidence based on scientific findings. Can’t wait to read more of his books! Definitely hard to find a doctor who will speak out on the harsh chemicals in vaccinations.
