Great character development and super twisty!

The character development is very good. Doesn’t happen immediately, definitely builds. By the last part of the book the twists were mind blowing. Definitely did not expext the ending!! Loved the TX references (HEB, Topo Chico, Shiner).

I really enjoyed this story. it was well written and the message in the end was really good. everything was tied together well. I also really liked the dual POV. Great characters, wonderfully done.

Great book! I loved the twists and depth of them, yet easy to listen.
Highly recommended. Good book for long travel, because it will occupy your mind.

Delightful twisty tale!

Just when you think you’ve got it, you realize that, nope, you don’t! It’s remarkable how talented the narrator (s) bring the story to life. It’s the “mother” of mysteries snd I found myself absorbed in it.
