I returned Freida’s new book and got this one instead, and am glad that I did. It had a little of everything and the narrator did a fantastic job. In fact, at one point I had to remind myself that it was one person narrating. A strong 4.5 because…what about Alex?

What happens when the line between the Haves & Have Nots becomes blurred…

It just keeps going and repeating the same things and nothing it happening. I keep waiting for something big to be revealed but I’m almost done and feel let down. Not for me unfortunately!

Boring

While I liked some of the descriptive writing in this book, the character development was underwhelming and the storyline ultimately was shallow and annoying. Guess this book was not for me.

Twists and turns were seamlessly woven throughout, delivering a compelling storyline with an even stronger finish. This was my first book by this author, and it certainly won’t be my last.
