Publisher's Summary

Jack Garrison lost his wife and their only child in a car accident...and thereafter lost his faith. In this dramatic novel, the 33-year-old skeptic experiences the mysterious wonder of being caught up in visions, dreams, and real-life experiences. Listeners journey with Jack throughout the Holy Land...and also globally, from his home in London to the furthest corners of the world.

We watch prophecy being fulfilled...and continuing to unfold...as only best-selling author, Bodie Thoene, and prophecy scholar, Ray Bentley, can paint the pictures and evoke the scenes.

Great Book - Disappointing Audio

I already knew that the book would be great because of the authors. I am a repetitive audio reader due to time constraints and the fact that audio enables multi-tasking. So, I'm constantly listening to books. The narration would be acceptable for non-fiction that doesn't involve multiple characters speaking. Fiction requires the professional skill of verbal actors. When listening to professional narrators, one can easily determine which character is speaking by the difference in the voice (meaning that each voice is clearly defined and unique). Audio books are often more costly than e-books and I'm willing to pay that for the professional narration. Unfortunately when listening to this book, I had to rewind many times to ascertain exactly who had just spoken. It was not narrated at the higher standard that is usually accompanied by such great literature. That was disappointing.

Reader made it hard to follow at times.

The reader needs to allow more time when going from one scene to another. One chapter to another. One thought to another.
Really hard to follow. I think the story is great and I’m buying the book to read myself bc I think I will get so much more out of it. Reader has a good voice but he looses me.

Great action. It was as if I was there. Good history tied in captivates your mind. Can't wait to read the next one.

Narration awful - wonderful story

It was a struggle to listen to the narrator, who is a co-author no less. I couldn't believe that such a heartfelt story could be read in such an uninspiring and unconvincing tone. I love all the Thoene books, so pushed through. It definitely took something away from the experience to have this narrator.

It doesn’t get better than this!

On the Mountain of the Lord gets all praise from me. The page-turner possesses great, well developed characters, a attention- building story line, and superb performance. The story line: Think tank participant goes on a research trip to Israel. His life will never to the same!!!

On the mountain of the Lord.

A good story with real history. My sympathies lie with the Jews and all the suffering. P

Wonderful

Dear Pastor Ray, Bodie and Brock Thoene
Thank you so much for teaming up to write this amazing book. It’s a perfect book for unbelievers because it explains the gospel and prophecy in an adventurous way. It lets you understand the reality of the return of Jesus soon.
God bless you all and I’m like ok’ing forward to the sequel.

Excitent suspenseful

I thought books that have the Thoene it. They are very detail in their research but it doesn't overload the story. I love how scripture is intertwined in , they bring Bible characters alive of the page.
