Publisher's Summary

The Northern Pines Den series is an mpreg shifter series about found families, finding joy after pain, and the yummy scents of fated mates!

The Northern Pines Den of bears found a solid ally in the newly formed Northern Lodge wolf pack - and together they face a foe as fierce as she is evil: the den Alpha’s estranged sister.

Through their connection with the wolves, the den finds mates who breathe new life into their traditional ways, though opening their hearts leaves them easy targets for their enemies - but the den will do whatever it takes to protect their own.

This bundle contains the final three books in this best-selling series - all books are fully re-edited and guaranteed to give a serious case of the feels!

Included:

Alpha’s Wolf - A story of an unconventional pair. Alpha bear Liam is a lover, not a fighter, who runs a B&B, while omega wolf Frankie the Fingers is a former military intelligence operative who is currently helping Mikael track down his rogue sister. The fated pair - literally - run into each other in the midst of a storm from hell. With no Wi-Fi and cell reception, a possible traitor in the den, Liam's inability to slow down at the B&B, and Frankie's compulsive need to trace the rogue, how can they each unwind enough to take a mate?

Alpha’s Redemption - Alpha jaguar Hector leaves Belize and arrives in Mills Creek seeking his formerly betrothed mate only to find himself embroiled in the rogue war. All the local bear shifters will die without Hector’s empathic gift, a legacy that has passed through his family from ancient times. Sweet, lonely Drew is an omega bear who yearns to see the world that Hector has seen, but first they must protect the ones they love by finding a way to end the Rogue War.

Alpha’s Solstice - Ten years after the Rogue War ended, revisit each and every couple from the Northern Lodge Pack and The Northern Pines Den. Kai and Taylor, each the Alpha Mate of their respective communities, will join forces to plan the party to end all parties. From yule logs to bonfires, crazy aunties to placid betas, cubs and pups, too...all of the shifters you know and love will be there for the holiday!

These books are all intended for 18+ listeners only. It's advised to listen to the series in order for maximum appreciation. And yes, this book contains M/PREG, knotting, adults adulting in sexy naughty ways, and way more than the occasional use of potty mouth language! Caution: contains violent scenes and mentions of death, as the pack is at war.

Final books on the series

I enjoyed Liam and Frankie’s story, while Frankie is an omega with military training and Liam has a restaurant and loves to cook while being an Alpha. Mating is always instant and sexy but they develop a great relationship as with all couples from this series. They have special origins though and it’s cool that they had two kids. War is still going on with that crazy sister from the Alpha so there’s mayhem. Then the next book, Hector comes from Belice to find his fiancée Diego but it’s Drew who has his fate on his hands. I loved Drew and his vulnerability being a lone shifter with no one to turn to.
At the last book, they all celebrate ten years of peace, all the couples and their families will get together. Their kids grown up and even finding mates of their own. But funny thing is they are still viril and fertile. Great wrap up!

A spellbinding conclusion

An interesting introduction of new characters as we reach the end of the battle that was looming.

Alpha's Wolf
An unconventional omega who loves technology and an alpha who loves to nurture and cook. But, this omega has his secrets and will become an even bigger aid to the coming battle.
The connection between Liam and Frankie was sweet and I liked how well they clicked and understood each other.
The narration was well done and Frankie especially stood out.

Alpha's Redemption
Drew tugs at your heart in this one and I was so glad he got the love and adventure he always wanted.
Hector really got his Redemption after Diego's story and was developed into a spectacular character. He also had his secrets but was not afraid to offer his aid.
The battle comes to head in his one and I loved how everyone rallied together to fight evil.
The narration here was absorbing and the battle scenes was done well and the crescendo was epic.

Alpha's Solstice
A lovely way to tie up all of the books. It was great to catch up with all of the previous couples and see where they are in their lives. A celebration in honor of all they accomplished. I was so happy for Walt.

A lovely set of stories to listen to and the narration was well done. I'm sad to see these guys go.

Northern Pines Den Alphas Books 4-6

These are fantastic stories that follow two shifter packs, bears and wolves, as they try to continue their line. The stories will bring chuckles at the antics some of the omegas get up to without effort on their part. The long suffering sighs and eye rolling of the alphas that mate them. Then the danger that a rogue female bear brings to all the shifters because she just wants to get back at her brother who is the alpha of the bears.
The narrator brings each and every character to life and inbues his voice with the mannerisms and accents each deserves!!
Fantastic stories and a thrill to listen .

Good continuation to the series!

Alpha's Wolf: (Liam & Frankie)

It was a nice change that Liam, the Alpha bear, was the one who cooked and wanted to be more on the background while his mate, Frankie, the wolf shifter, was the nerdy tech, more battle-ready of the two since he'd been in the military with Jules. They really fit well with each other, though, and as has been the case with the other couples (or throuples) in the series, they're hot together.

I'm really enjoying the continuing arc with Yvonne, especially now that we finally meet her, and while I had been fooled by Tommy, the rogue shifter, I had no clue of who he really was. Damn!

This was my favorite of the three stories included in this bundle.

Alpha's Redemption: (Hector & Drew)

Kinkier than the previous books, but very, very hot! A bit of Daddy kink, spanking and loads of chemistry between Hector and Drew, who, despite their age difference were pretty well matched. I loved that Drew felt comfortable enough to be sassy with Hector and how his confidence grew from when we met him in the previous book.

Things got set up for the final showdown against Yvonne and Tommy, which I was looking forward to. Unfortunately, it was kind of blink and you miss it. I was expecting something a bit more well, just more. It was pretty anticlimactic after so many books leading to it. At least the baddies lost, which is something, I guess. *shrugs*

While I liked Hector & Drew, I was disappointed by how quickly things got resolved with the rogue pack and Yvonne.

Alpha's Solstice - Everyone

This was a lovely way to wrap up these two series (Northern Lodge Pack and Northern Pines Den) and leave the door open for a new one set in the future. It was fun and steamy and gave us a glimpse into the future of all the couples we've met throughout both series. I'm really intrigued over what else Ms. Hawke might have in store for us in this 'verse.

Re.: The Narration: John Solo did a fantastic job, not only in this bundle but throughout the series bringing all these couples and characters (and there's a lot of those) come to life. He brought the necessary emotion to every scene and damn, if he didn't manage to make all those hot knotting scenes even hotter! *fans self*

I hadn't read these books before starting with the first Northern Pines Den bundle and while I might have been a bit lot when the guys from the Northern Lodge Pack appeared, I have no trouble recommending these audiobooks. They're entertaining, hot and action-packed and definitely ones I'll come back and revisit at some point.

Great shifter stories

I have to admit I have not yet read or listened to the first three books in the series, but that did not hurt my enjoyment of this set. The first two books involve pairs of fated mates, while the third is kind of (maybe?) a wrap up of the families.(I'd love to see the stories continue on with some of the younger characters. Maybe a new series?) There is bit of drama and a war brewing, but mostly the first two stories are about finding connection and love. Each person has their set of skills and everyone plays a role in the bigger picture of the coming battle. I loved the way the overarching story came together in the final climax! The final story was something of a "where are they now" culmination or revisiting of all the characters from the other books and what has been happening in their lives, A very, fun, exciting, and entertaining listen.

I enjoyed the narration by John Soto. He was great at channeling the emotions expressed by the characters. His delivery was clear, and the pacing was great.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest, voluntary review.

A good bundle to wind down this story

Alpha's Wolf

This is a "true" fated mates story. Liam is an Alpha who runs a B&B in town. Frankie is an ex-military Omega who is a loner and doesn't trust anyone. When a storm hits, and communications are down, Frankie must leave his safe place and travel to see Mikael to relay information about his sister's whereabouts. While traveling, the storm makes the roads more dangerous than Frankie believed, and he almost literally ran his car into Liam who was returning from the den lands. As soon as they are exposed to each other, Frankie trusts him implicitly. It works out perfectly for them, because Liam is the nurturing, cooking, and willing to raise the pups kind of Alpha, while Frankie is the protective, strong and ex-military Omega.

Alpha's Redemption

When the Alpha who Diego was promised to shows up at the B&B, Stefan and the others expect trouble. That is, until he explains that he was drawn there for reasons unknown to him; and that's when he sees Drew. They are perfect for each other, especially since Drew will be expected to move to Hector's Homeland and travel the world with him. He's always wanted to travel. The only thing they have to do first is end the Rogue War.

That leads me back to one piece of the puzzle I left out. There is a new facet to the series introduced in these first two books. Frankie and Hector's lineage traces back to the first lines, and grants them special powers that are going to be key in winning the war and in their own offspring.

Alpha's Solstice

This is a big reunion of sorts, a decade after the war ended. It's a gigantic party where every pair from both the wolves and the bears (and the kitties) are revisited. And, oh boy! There are a lot of surprises in store for our Alphas, betas, and omegas.

I thought the narrator did a good job. He has been constant throughout the series.

I received a free copy of this audiobook.

Great Series Conclusion!

I really enjoyed these books and finally seeing the war come to an end. The first book is focused on Liam and Frankie. They are a spectacular couple who aren't your typical alpha/omega. Liam, the alpha, loves to cook at the B&B he owns, and Liam, the omega, is an ex-military hacker. The next book focuses on Drew and Hector. Drew is such a sweet character you just can't help but love him and rejoice when he finds his fated mate, Hector. Hector is just perfect for Drew and will help him realize all of his dreams.
The final book is my absolute favorite of the whole series as it brings together all of the couples not just from this series but also from The Northern Lodge Pack series. It takes place 10 years after the war has ended and it was great to catch up with all of the characters.
The narrator did a spectacular job with all of the voices especially in the final book with so many different characters all together in one story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

Fated mates, empath shows the way and party to end

I've loved revisiting the Northern Pines Den as I first read this whole series starting with the Northern Lodge books in the previous Susi saga. John Solo does an amazing job of voicing all the different characters...bears, wolves, and jaguars...oh, my!
I adore lovely Liam the B&B owning bear and feisty Omega hacker wolf Frankie who has come to help Mikael track down his sister and hopefully put an end to the war.
Next, it was Hector the empathic jaguar who finds his mate and helps bering about the end of the war.
Finally, it was the party to end all parties...a solstice celebration taking place 10 years after the end of the rogue war and each of the main characters from all the previous Lodge/Den books gets a chapter of their own...also seeing some of the kids we encounter in the initial books as grown ups starting families of their own is wonderful.
Highly recommended for all lovers of shifter, MPreg adventure/romance stories.

Hot Hot Hot paranormal mpreg series

Having not read the first 3 books (or listened to them), I was wary that I wouldn't enjoy this audio book.
But.....it was fabulous. My favouritte couple was Frankie and Liam. It gave me feels. But my favourite of the 3 stories in this audio book was the last one. It included all the couples from the series. so the guys in the story i didn't get to read about had their HEA's told. This was a really great idea of Susi's.
John Solo the narrator was fantastic, his Honduran and South American accent was first class. He brought Jules, Hector and Diego to life. Must now listen to the first part of the series.

Another wonderful collection!

🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 stars
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 4+

Another wonderful collection!

Alpha’s Wolf - I loved Liam and Frankie! I think Frankie was one of my favorite characters! I love the juxtaposition of size and 'rank' and ingrained 'role' even in Alpha/Omega stories. I've been loving this collection and each couple has been great and I've loved the overarching 'war' storyline!

Alpha’s Redemption - I do love John's narration of the Jaguars in this series. I love the unique accent! Another great pairing and I'm so glad Drew found his Alpha, he's such a sweetie! The end of the rouge war is intense and Susi did so well in staying true to each character and pairing that I was saddened for Alpha Mikael in the end but a fierce battle was fought.

Alpha’s Solstice - The perfect ending!!! We get to see all the couples again and see how their lives had continued and turned out 10 years later! I loved the ability to revisit all these couples and the surprise situation they find themselves in is hilariously perfect. not many authors have done a book like this and to be able to revisit some fav characters was just wonderful, thanks, Susi!

I loved this whole series and the perfect collection of Bears, Wolves, and Jaguars!!!

Thanks for reading!

Great continuation and finale of this series

Loved the first two stories with two further couples finding their mates as we also reach the climax of the overall story arc of the den Alpha's sister trying to attack and ruin the pack.
Book 4 sees Liam, an alpha bear running a B&B get nearly run over by Frankie, hacker omega helping the pack to find the enemy. They are wonderful together and fit perfectly as a couple. The story gradually moves along with chances arising for the pack to defeat the rogues.
Book 5 is focused on Hector, a visiting alpha jaguar and Drew, an omega bear longing to travel. I love the voice given to Hector and all jaguars that hail from Belize. John really does well in giving so many voices and inflections to so many characters that become involved in the story overall. There's a great conclusion that gives everyone the chance to live free and happy.
Book 6 is an epilogue that focuses one chapter per family from the Northern Lodge Pack and the Northern Pines Den. I haven't actually read/listened to the Lodge pack so was a little lost for a while but it's a fantastic chance to catch up with characters ten years after the rogue war ended.
John Solo has brought all of these characters to life, getting emotion across really well so much that I felt right there with them and was experiencing the highs and lows with them. Each characters was given their own voice and I really enjoyed listening to this series.
