Publisher's Summary

Romance, lust, suspense, and uncensored scenes

Jenna Harris is a wedding planner who doesn’t believe in fairytales...at least not for her. When police officer Noah Baker comes on the scene, she begins to wonder if she’s been mistaken. But there's no time for romance, even if she wanted it.

Jenna took custody of her half-brother, Lucas, after the death of her father and stepmother. Now she’s busy launching her business and raising him at the same time. But something's going on with Lucas....

He's involved with a bad crowd and up to no good.

Can Noah intervene and convince Jenna that sometimes fairytales do come true?

Noah is the third book in the steamy Brothers in Blue series.

Warning: These stories contain steamy scenes and are not suitable for all ages. Listeners 18 years of age and older.

Loved it!

I loved this book just as much as the first and second book in the series! Great romance. The narrator was great to listen to as well. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Another Great Story!

This is book three in the series but you don't have to read the other two to appreciate and enjoy this one. I loved the other two and now this one! This is a great series. It has romance, suspense, action and plenty of steam. This isn't a long listen but Simone Carter packs it full. The characters are great and the storyline well done. The narration was well done. I've listened to Lissa Blackwell narrate all three books and she has grown in her narration. Although she still sounded like she was in a room too big with nothing to "collect" sounds. It's better than the last book but still there. Overall, an entertaining listen that I will be recommending to my friends.

Short Slow Burn Romantic Suspense!

This is the third book in the Brothers in Blue Series, a short Romantic Suspense. Jenna and Noah's slow burn story is suspenseful, fast-paced, and action packed. They share a great chemistry. Noah is handsome! I love to see the other charcters from the first books, Darcy/Nick, and Sophie/Nate. Lissa Blackwell did a good narration. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.

Audio book ok

This is the first book of Simone's that I have listened to. I have really enjoyed the books I have read.
The story was ok, but got tired of the female lead whining.
My main complaint was the narrator. The voice she gave the main female character was that of a whiney twit. The only reason I finished listening was because I had told the author I would leave a review..
Like I said, I've enjoyed her other books and really wanted to like this one also, but it was not an audio book for me.

Quick listen

It was the first time for me to listen to this author and narrator. I think the author did a great job in telling the story, it wasn't dragged out and came to a conclusion very swiftly. I would love to listen to the rest of the books in this series and a few more has gone onto my wish list.

The only part that I didn't like was that Jenna was very self doubting maybe a bit to much but that is my own personal feelings to the situation.

The narrator was average and maybe this was one of her first narration work, there where a few phrases that was repeated. I would listen to the narrator again as I believe every one deserves a second chance.

I would recommend this book to anyone new to the suspense romance genre.

Recommended

My favorite of the 'Brothers In Blue' series. Note: stories standalone with recurring characters.

The characters were likable and well characterized. The setting realistic. A bit over done on how much is going on in Jana's life but it does feel like that at times.

I wish this series was the Baker Family Series, would like to know the sisters stories.

Lissa Blackwell did an admirable job narrating and portraying the characters.

Nice Story

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. The narration left a lot to be desired. Lots of repeated phrases or corrections without taking out the misread phrase. The story was a little too trite at times. Although I did love the part about getting the wedding done before the bride could get a transplant or die. My sis is waiting on a kidney and has been on dialysis for 7 years. Good to highlight the medical conditions of people who are awaiting transplants. Perhaps that will spur others to become donors.

Wedding a planner, Robbery, Drugs, Brother and (sigh) Noah

A Wedding planner, not by choice but fell into it, our heroine has stopped at a convenience store caught in the middle of a robbery. Saved by a man she know, as well as his brother’s who is a cop..off duty, Noah.
So begins a story where her feelings after being abused and having an incredibly harsh ending to her marriage finds herself falling...trying to deal with past issues, a brother she has raised and run a business.
She has a lot of insecurities, but tries to work at them, Noah knows what he wants and is such a sweet attentive and patience man.
The narrator does a nice job, a sweet voice, sometimes a bit over the top but doesn’t distract from the story.

Short, sweet with a surprisingly amount of action

First of all, this is the third book in the series and I recommend reading or listening to the other books in order before hearing this audiobook. The series is about three brothers (who are all cops) finding and fighting for their women. Without a bit of context, mostly because both characters appear in previous books, Noah and Jenna's budding chemistry comes out of the blue and feels a little farfetched.

That said, for such a short audiobook it has a little of everything: vulnerable characters with interesting backstories; romance; action; and sex. Noah and Jenna's relationship even goes through the expected struggle before they finally achieve their HEA. This book is light and easy to listen to, though I think I enjoyed it more because I had heard the other books first.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
