Publisher's Summary

A gripping serial killer thriller.

An entire family is murdered and, by a quirk, a young girl is left unharmed. For 15 years, she believed the killer had been caught, and he's now on death row, awaiting execution. While trying to be content with her adoptive family, she's living in relentless uncertainty and the fear of remembering what really happened that night when she was five years old. She's The Watson Girl.

A therapist has asked her to participate in regression session treatments to attempt to bring back those lost memories. The closer she gets to the truth, however, the less time she has to remain alive. Now, the real killer is going to silence her, before she can remember the details of that horrifying night, when she was an innocent witness.

Laura Watson is young, she's beautiful, and she's a serial killer's loose end.

Join the smart, relentless, and short-fused FBI Special Agent Tess Winnett and her team in a heart-stopping search for the serial killer who has managed to stay hidden for many years. Explore the inner workings of the murderer's mind, and find out what motivates such predatory, blood-lusting behavior, while following every twist and turn of an existence spent taking lives.

    "Must read Thriller!!"

"An exhilarating ride with plenty to satisfy even the most demanding Crime Reader - Very Haunting , Tess Winnett is amazing.. I found myself rushing through the last few chapters as the pace increased and every moment was full of tension. Brilliant stuff."

the narrative of Andrew Tell is an added bonus bringing the acts of the crime and criminals into question with bone chilling intensity.. Bravo.!!

    "Gripping Story!"

Leslie Wolfe is a new author to me, while I have listened to Andrew Tell previously. I think both are extremely talented. I loved all of the unexpected twists this book had. I found the story to be original, and felt that the audiobook would be better than the print version due to the performance. I will definitely look for more books by both Leslie Wolfe and Andrew Tell. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and or publisher. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it.

    "Superb Thriller"
    Any additional comments?

"The Watson Girl" is my favorite kind of thriller - a tight, intricate story, featuring strong female leads, tons of twists and turns and a very satisfying ending. Leslie Wolfe expertly weaves a tale about a murdered family, the lose end that survived and the killer that's behind it all. Typically I can guess where a book like this is going, but Wolfe left me wondering (and wrong!) on more than one occasion. Andrew Tell delivers a fabulous performance keeping me enthralled and bringing the characters to life. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a murder mystery story - this is quite a good one! 10/10

    "Well Written, Interesting"

This is my first from both the author and the narrator and I was really impressed with both. The novel is well written with well thought out plot twists and turns, well developed characters, and gripping suspense. Far too often mysteries have recycled, poorly planned "twists" but that is definitely not the case here - I was surprised more than once!

I can't wait to read/listen to more from this author and this series and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a good mystery/suspense.

Listening to Audio books makes my daily commute to work less painful and prevents me from falling asleep behind the wheel.
I have listened to many thrillers and The Watson girl as well as Dawn Girl are definitely among the best!

The narrator is extremely good, well written, great story.... Oh my God, I could not stop listening.

    "The Watson Girl"

    The Watson Girl
    : Leslie Wolfe

A deep dark psychological thriller/ murder mystery with well developed characters. This is the second book in this series but the first I have listened to. I will have to go back and get "Dawn Girl" to see where the story began. I enjoyed this book with a strong female protagonist.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Andrew Tell.

    "Great storyline"

I was given this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review. I loved the book. The storyline kept me guessing. I thought I figured it out midway, but wasn't quite sure. The side story of the detective added some depth to the story. The narrator did a good job.
