Not my best!

I really didn’t enjoy the narration of this book. Emphasis on wrong words in sentences, peculiar pronunciation and intonation spoiled the book for me.

Whilst I enjoyed the tragic story of Fatima and her family’s escape from their war torn country I really struggled with Eedie. She was selfish, self centred and daft beyond belief and the end twist was somewhat predictable.

I won’t be recommending this book to my book club, sorry.
