Needs a disclaimer

A haunting book. It goes between two sisters along separate timelines and the narration was so good. A really good story. I would suggest a disclaimer and trigger warning regarding suicide. A prevalent theme throughout.

Bittersweet

Bittersweet. An amazing story of sisters, affairs, family, and love. Life is full of twists and turns and the book takes you on a journey.

Fast forwarding

I literally started jumping through chapters and fast forwarding just to get to the end of this book. I’d like some of our other ones I thought were really good, including one called “the castaways“. However, this one was so so slow… Quite painful really. And overall, the storyline was not particularly interesting with a flat disappointing ending.

Swimming at Night is a wonderful book...A great tale of two sisters and the struggles that a sibling relationship can go through.

What about Fiona Hardingham’s performance did you like?

I love the way Fiona Hardingham pronounces words and her voice is extremely pleasant to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Great easy read

I really liked this book. Quick read. It's written so you're right there with them, feeling their pain. Story is terribly sad but in the most beautiful way at times. Not at all what I was expecting
