Outstanding, A Knockout Story

The narrator did an excellent job creating a different voice for every character, which is no easy feat, with as many as there were. I only have the story 4 stars bevause I found the constant ping-ponging of characters/time periods quite confusing at times.
However, that is easily overlooked in light of the overall story arc, plot, and the deftness with which the author keeps you guessing until the end. I'm looking up more of her work immediately!

When the touted twist makes no sense . . .

The ending ruined the book and made it a complete waste of time. Twists are great when they make sense; this one didn't.

Twist ending!!

I usually have most books figured out well before the end, but this one pleasantly surprised me with a twist ending!!

To much at once

Although the book was good and I was able to keep track of characters I felt that the ending was just too much. Without giving much away it’s just all too much. Wish they would have separated some of the stories. Just to much OMG and WOWs for me. Through me way off. Still a good read and will have left going WHAT? And BUT WHY? Lol. So definitely worth the read. Just a lot in the end is all.

okay, it's time for some Earl Grey and listen as a British family's secrets unfold

Predictable

I guessed every twist. And I wasn’t trying that hard. The red herrings were obvious, and the characters had no real depth. That said, it was easy fun listen that got me through a day of tidying house.

This book was okay. I thought it dragged on too long and could've been shorter with the same effect. I liked it but didn't love it or feel there were so very much intrigue into most of the characters. The ending was a bit surprising but not the best I've ever read.
