Dead woman walking???
Loved this Book Shot-even with (for all practical purposes) no Lindsay Boxer. Our friendly coroner-Claire Washburn- comes to work & hears a noise coming from?? one of the cold storage slabs. The story that follows is very intriguing. I highly recommend

Story? Good. Narration? BOO!
Every single character's voice was exactly the same. There was hardly a difference between the men's and women's voices! After listening to January LaVoy in each of the prior Audible books in this series, this was a HUGE letdown. I certainly hope Kate Russell never attempts this venue again.

I have listened to everyone of the murder club. I was disappointed that it did not have the murder clubs voices. It was weird to try to figure them out. Cara was a black women which this Cara was not. But I still liked it.

Disappointing
And I was disappointed in this particular women's club book. I felt that it lacks the intensity that others I had in the previous books. I believe the purpose of this book was to introduce possibly a new character to the women's murder club.

A not dead dead body!
I enjoyed this shortshot of Dr Claire & the alive dead body! The way James & Maxene write; I could she the expressions on the morgue worker's & Dr Claire's face when there was a moan & movement in the bodybag!
