Publisher's summary

In the more than 100 years since Doyle created the immortal Sherlock Holmes and his assistant, Dr. Watson, no other mystery writer has come close to eclipsing him as the standard bearer in crime fiction. A brilliant London-based "consulting detective," Holmes is famous for his intellectual prowess and is renowned for his skillful use of astute observation, deductive reasoning, and inference to solve difficult cases. Holmes is at the height of his powers here in this collection of 12 of his most famous cases, including "The Red-Headed League" and "The Adventure of the Speckled Band."

Easy reading

Great author and easy reading. Short interesting stories. Good reader as well. Better than reading a book.

Narrator was perfect!

I’ve read the series before. I was worried that the narrator would not do it justice. He did an amazing job.

Mr. Cosham is a gem!

I am pursuing all of Mr. Cosham’s work since first hearing his JUNGLE BOOK. A marvelous talent reading a magnificent work.

The narrator is my favourite narrator outside God.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes to be better than the print version?

No that is absurd.

What other book might you compare The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes to and why?

Any Agatha Christie I suppose.

Which character – as performed by Ralph Cosham – was your favorite?

Watson.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me feel feelings of feelings. Does that make sense? Oh bother, I feel that it does... :-)

Any additional comments?

Cosham is a boss applesauce. (As Judge Judy made famous)...
