Publisher's Summary

A calculating killer who calls himself The Teacher is taking on New York City, killing the powerful and the arrogant. His message is clear: remember your manners or suffer the consequences! For some, it seems that the rich are finally getting what they deserve. For New York's elite, it is a call to terror.

Only one man can tackle such a high-profile case: Detective Mike Bennett. The pressure is enough for anyone, but Mike also has to care for his ten children-all of whom have come down with virulent flu at once!

Discovering a secret pattern in The Teacher's lessons, Detective Bennett realizes he has just hours to save New York from the greatest disaster in its history.

Absolutely fantastic in every way!

Would you listen to Run for Your Life again? Why?

Definitely, in fact, I plan on listening to it tonight. I am putting off another book to take this trip again with Mike because it is that good!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Run for Your Life?

The Teacher's twist at the end. It was like being an audio-adrenaline junky and getting a fix.

Which character – as performed by Bobby Cannavale and Dallas Roberts – was your favorite?

Mike Bennett is obvious. His part is read to perfection and I can't imagine anyone else even trying to read his character. But safely, the Teacher is read with serious eeriness and you get all the creepy acting in just the voice of the part being read. Talk about giving life to pages. Between these 2 men, they are excellent and truly found their calling in being the voice for such great characters.

Any additional comments?

This book is a "must-listen"! You cannot believe just how quickly you are swept away and how amazing the writing is. I have listened to many audiobooks over the years but none as exciting as this one. I didn't want to stop listening and often found excuses to put on my headphones for even 10 minutes. You'll love this book.

Run for your life...great!!!

Would you listen to Run for Your Life again? Why?

Yes....this is a great book....lives up to the James Patterson story line.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

James Patterson does it again with the suspense,,,

Which scene was your favorite?

The best part of the novel is not knowing what will happen next..so many twists and turns,,,especially, when the children are confronted with who they think is a friend of their dad's.
