The book is almost being published in chapters!

What made the experience of listening to Renegades the most enjoyable?

This is a good story, and read well, but I have to say the story within book 2 seemed too short, despite the 30+ chapters! In other words, the story doesn't advance to a point where I'd expect this book to end. At this rate there will be 10 books before we get the end of the series - that will add up to quite a price!

Another great story by DJ Molles!

I definitely enjoyed The Remaining and its characters. I also enjoyed Wolves but it was tough to read given its exploration into what mankind can/could devolve into when civilization crumbles. This book and series is another great installment!! IMO, DJ Molles does a superb job of developing characters (and letting the reader inside their thoughts). So much so that, at least in my case, it feels like you're in the story with them. I like many genres but in the post apolcalyptic world DJ and one other are at the top of my "must read authors" list.

Great story showing how far someone will go for what they believe in. Christian Rummel is one of my favorite narrators he works so well with Molles stories.

Great 2nd book in new series!!

DJ Molles does it again with a new series that is just as exciting and suspenseful as The Remaining! Premise Is America is a country under control by Russia, China and a new American government keeping citizens down and under control as they take away rights slowly but surely. The Country has been this way for few generations so the main characters are people who just wanted to work and be left alone but get dragged into a rebellion to get the old America back! The action is amazing, almost non stop after the set up for both books so far. You get the reluctant protagonist kicking butt and getting his butt kicked as well, super soldiers on both sides, renegade generals and troops supporting the rebels, spies and double Crossing along the way! And just bc some characters are on the same side doesn't mean they don't try to kill each other along the way if their goals aren't the same! Twists as well as main character and his wife find out secrets about their pasts. As always Christian Rummel makes this book even better with his narration! Worth the money def try this series!!

DJ Molles never fails!!

From 'The Remaining' series to 'Wolves' and now 'A Growers War', DJ Molles' story telling and attention to detail is second to none. When can I expect book 3??
