Outstanding

This is by far one of the best, most mind blowing books I've come across in a long time. A Rollercoaster ride full of twists and turns. Don't try to figure it out, just hold on and enjoy! Make sure that you have the time to listen, once you start you won't want to stop. Definitely worth the money or the credit. 😀😀

Keeps your attention til the end

This was one of the better books I’ve read. It will keep your attention until the very end. I listened pretty much straight through.

Engaging, but I couldn’t keep track.

Confusing, dogged, but I had to find out what happened. Emotions run high and ring true. iNot sure I still have main characters straight.

If you like lifetime movies

Sort of cheesy but, like a lifetime movie, you’ll find you keep listening just to see how it turns out. It’s no great work of literature but some decent light listening. If liked this but are looking for something a little more interesting, I would highly recommend “You” by Kepnes (not for the squeamish) or for something more fast paced (by lifetime movie standards), I’d recommend “Bad Games” by Menapace.

So good!

Pointed out many times twists that are just stuck at the end are annoying . This kept me guessing but unfolded seamlessly.

WOW!

I honestly listened to 'Remember Me' in one sitting. It kept me up all night, I couldn't stop listening to see what would happen next- and I was not disappointed.

A young mother to a two year old is greeted by her new neighbours. Shawnee is a spunky self employed photographer who offers Louise, our young mother, all kinds of friendship. Louise thinks her new neighbour is one off, but waffles back and forth as to whether it's Shawnee who is lying and manipulative, or whether she herself is being forgetful. Louise takes a lot of Valium- too many- and one of the side effects is forgetfulness.

When Shawnee offers to watch Louise's baby for free, Louise is stand-offish but her husband finds it to be a great idea. Louise grows more and more suspicious that her new neighbour is after her husband and her baby- and so does the reader.. but no one will believe a woman who takes too many pills..

This story is addictive with twists and turns and more than likely, one of the most stunning endings I've ever listened to. I am shocked and mesmerized.

Not bad, but not spectacular, either...

The last few months or so I've been getting into this genre (mystery/drama), and I've listened to some great books and some not-so-great books. This one would be in the middle. I think I struggle with how most books of this type have feeble, uncertain, cowardly women as main characters. If these stories were more realistic, then the protaganist would be snapping pics with her iPhone as evidence, or confronting their situations with a little more assertiveness. It seemed totally implausible that Clare spotted Ben's comfort blanket in Sharni's photo, but didn't think to take it to show her husband or even snap a pic of it. Same goes for the photo album with pics of Ben. Who would just walk away after seeing that??? Maybe there are more meek, mousy women out there than I know about? Who knows, but I would like to see more dramatic mysteries with stronger women who aren't afraid to confront situations. I mean, when I got to the scene where Clare was in the bath and heard Sharni creeping into Ben's room over the baby monitor, she gets up out of the tub, takes a Valium, and then wrings her hands thinking, "Oh god... what should I do?" UM, hello? What would any mother do??? It just seemed a bit silly. The plot was a compelling one, but a little redundant as the whole story began all over again from Sharni's point of view. There were some inconsistencies, too, like Clare buying a pale blue dress for the work Christmas party, but Clare later described it as a red velvet one. All in all though, I finished the book and it was entertaining enough. There are a lot of positive reviews, so I'm sure fans of this kind of story will like it. The narrator did a great job, and was easy on the ears. I liked how she narrated Helen's character, but at times Clare and Sharni were indistinguishable in voice.

Tricky Plot!

Good characters, twisty plot...couldn’t put it down! If you like a good British mystery but are growing tired of police procedural, this audiobook is ideal!

A Not So Thrilling Thriller Good Narrator Tho!

after much debate im rewriting my review. whilst the premise of this book sounded thrilling, i ultimately gained nothing from it.
the story was good at first but slowly became less surprising and i found myself working out the book before it had even hit the middle.
the narrator on the other hand was BRILLIANT! just a shame that the story was rubbish! ao ive returned the book with hopes of finding a thriller that will truly thrill me.
