Can the power of intention go wrong?
Byrdie, a graduate of art school, decides she's sick of living on a shoestring. After reading books on success, and learning how to bring about what one desires, it's Game On. She creates a painting of what she wants to achieve and it ushers in the life she'd envisioned. When she lands a lucrative dream job in financial investments, it comes with more luxuries than she'd ever imagined.
Along with the mansion, maid, fancy car, and clothes, comes the knight in shining armor who hired her. Byrdie doesn't know the secrets he keeps beneath his polished persona, but he can't possibly be what her psychic brother thinks he is. She wouldn't have created such a perfect future, just to have it blemished with psychopathic, murdering thieves.
"What's wrong is wrong and what's right is right", has always been Byrdie's motto. She soon realizes not everyone views right and wrong the same way. Will she do what she knows is right or will she discover things aren't always so black and white?
Did the power of intention go wrong? Or did it really go wrong at all? Be careful what you wish for.
This story took me surprise! It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but in a good way. Well written, fantastic narration and a story that had me hooked from the start - I highly recommend this audio!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. The fact that I was gifted this book had no influence over my opinion of it
An excellently written book loaded with intrigue and unexpected twists. An incredibly intelligent combination of romance, power, suspense, shocking horror, and unpredictability. A.J Arron is a remarkable author and Will Tulin is a master of bringing words to life. The two of them together are a powerhouse that rivals Hollywood! Anyone up for a glass of blood wine should download this...cheers to brilliance.
I don't know what I was expecting, but halfway through this book I still felt like the story hadn't really gone anywhere and I don't know, I just couldn't get into the story. I didn't particularly care for any of the characters except for Birdie's brother Brent. Birdie was just, well, naive, being given an Aston Martin, money, clothing, etc and also a place to stay living with these men who were complete strangers, and I don't know. I just didn't like it. I can't really get into the rest without giving away the story, but I'm glad Brent didn't kick the bucket.
That being said, I thought Will Tulin did a good job with the narration and handled the different voices and accents very well. I would have no problem listening to another audiobook performed by him. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.
I absolutely loved the narration on this book, but didn't like the story. The story just wasn't what appealed to me. I love my wines, but blood into wine grossed me out. I didn't like a lot of the characters either, but the narrator was so talented with his various distinguished voices that it made up for not liking the story. I would definitely listen to more books by this narrator. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.
what a little bit of ambition can do to a person.... the book was great.. I like the suspense very much. I like the character of Brady she was smart encouraging ambitious and she knew what you wanted all the way long even when she did mistakes she found herself the character of the brother was great as well he was like a campus to his sister and the psychopath how it was great all of the book was very good I don't want to write any more things because it will be a spoiler I definitely suggest this book PS the narrator was great for this kind of book I liked it very much

Although a little unbelievable, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. There’s plenty of action, murder, mystery, drama, cannibalism (ick!), etc. going on throughout the story to keep you coming back for more. The narration was excellent. I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.
I thought this book was just okay. I found it difficult to get into a book with characters I really didn’t like. I found Byrdie frustrating and too self absorbed and Duncan and Mario were just creepy (Duncan more so than Mario). The only character I liked at all was Brent. He was a sweetheart and an amazing brother. The storyline was quite different and I am sure interesting to those who like psychological thrillers, it just wasn’t for me. I did enjoy Will Tulin’s narration. I thought he did a great job on all the voices and would definitely listen to another audiobook he narrates. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
The story pulls you in straps you down tight. then you go on a roller coaster ride of emotions full of twists and turns ups and downs and you don't see the incoming. hold on tight this one will give you a Thrill Ride you soon won't forget. the performance of the narration keeps you on the edge of your seat . you can't wait for the next chapter to begin.
