Dated and dreadfully narrated

I purchased this one hoping for a good Coben story. Instead I discovered a tale that was decades old, hardly topical, and with a premise with little contemporary value. However, a good narrator could have made the story come across far better. This reader was wooden, unrehearsed, utterly amateurish, and dull. The pauses between scenes were often ignored, and the intonations were seldom, if ever, relevant to the narrative. She should learn from others in the business before embarking on another project like this.
