Meditating to fall asleep is one of the most peaceful ways to ensure that you doze off and improve the quality of your rest. It soothes your nervous system, helping you access deeper levels of sleep and reduce overall stress. Modern technology can trick the brain into thinking it must be active all of the time - especially when we sit in front of computer, phone, or TV screens before bed. By calming the mind, we allow it to become more comfortable with relaxing, and therefore prime our brains for restful sleep. There are three meditations in this audiobook, each set to three different backing tracks, giving you nine options for falling asleep to. Try a different one each night, and see what works for you. If you don't fall asleep after just one, keep playing them.

Sometimes we have allowed our bodies to struggle with sleep for so long that changing the routine can be a long process. Know that it's worth it. You have the power to access better sleep, and when you commit to bedtime routines like this, overtime it will become easier and easier. These meditations are designed to help you enter into peaceful sleep. Ideally, before you play these tracks, you will have already prepared yourself for falling asleep. It is recommended that you avoid electronic use at least an hour before bed, if possible, and allow your body to unwind before trying to fall asleep.

Some great practices involve taking a bath, reading a book, or journalizing before you get into bed to listen to these tracks. Let yourself savor your time unwinding before sleep. That is a powerful process that lets your body know it's getting close to the time where it can recharge from your long day through the rejuvenating (and highly necessary) process of sleep. Even if you do not have time to spend an hour unwinding without electronics before using these meditations, at the very least make sure that you are ready for bed. Brush your teeth, go to the bathroom, get in your pajamas, and do whatever else necessary to make sure you are physically prepared to fall asleep immediately following any one of these meditations.

Great Bundle

Simply put, it works! I am fairly skeptical about this sort of thing - it always seems well intended, but falls short. Not this one. It works. Happy With It

A brief but absolutely great introduction into meditation. Introduces the different types of meditation and is encouraging for a beginner like myself. It is not based on any particular belief system other than the enormous effects that meditation can have. Extremely Good

I expected to take away a few tips on how to breathe better, how to deal with feeling sleepy and how to cope with pain and numb legs. I didn’t expect all the profound insight on the true meaning of Meditation. I was given a free review copy of this audio book at my request.
