My only complaint is the recording. The narrator is not the best ...he's perfectly functional. You can clearly hear and understand what he's saying, but he's jus reading ...it's not really a "performance." I feel like I'm acting spoiled, cuz I can still enjoy the story this way without having to stop n read the word myself ...but the fact is compared to other books on this platform, the performance in this case is very obviously not as good.
Also, there's a static. It's not the whole book, but at various points throughout the story it picks up n distracts a bit from the story. There's also the use of music at some points that seemed a bit unnecessary, also there's a weirdly long gap of silence btwn chapters.

As for the story ...its not GOT or LOTR, but it's well written It entertains, and captures your interest. Despite my complaints about the performance and production I will definitely be tuning in for the next book.

Check it out ...still well worth the credit

This story is very good

The story was basic, but the narration was awful. Constantly hear shuffling noises after most sentences that are louder than the actual narrator completely distracting you from what you just heard until you lose track of the story and have rewind through all that garbage to try to catch it.

The frequent background noises and the AI narrator switching voices for different characters can be quite distracting. Can't say much about the story.

Bad AI narration
