Great read

This was a really good book with good character development abd fun side characters. The power system isnt like any other I've ever seen and its really interesting. It has a slow burn to it but by the end you will be looking for the date for the next book to come out!

i will need to pick up the next one. this review is mostly just for me to remind myself I want to follow yhe series but audible doesn't have a good way to do that.

Prosperity has a price

I really want to know who this guy really is. He lived in the woods and was trained by some guy, but he knows nothing about his past. I loved the power to upgrade his stuff and how he learns to use his gift, but not everything goes his way.

Great story

Not sure why there’s a 4.5 rating overall. Gave a chance to this despite there not being many reviews, did not disappoint.

not a bad story

As I said the story isn't bad. MC does some things and some more things in a way that improves his power and standing in the world. I'd only suggest a little more word diversity and dictionary checks.

the performance for this one was pretty good. this particular story just was not my cup of tea.

Great start

I really appreciated the originality in the magic system. The MC has a cool origin story coming from his isolated home in the woods and moving to civilization. It felt like this was a webnovel at one point. The pro if that is true is that there will be a lot more to come. The narration was really good.

Really Happy with this book, the MC is likable and the system is unique. The character development and world building had a good pace to it. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Inner monologue

The inner monologue is strong in this one… I have a hard time enjoying books that break mid conversation for a long stretch of inner monologue. The story seems to exist more in the MCs head through monologue, than a world that is brought to life.
