Strong New World

I started this knowing almost nothing about the world. I got hooked fast by the action and the pacing. Dan’s journey from near-death to agent felt gritty and grounded. The “stat, gear, mission” framework worked well in the cyberpunk setting. The narration gave life to both the tense moments and quieter ones.

a fun listen

I am always game for this kind of cyberpunk narrative. This is creatively written, and a joy from start to finish. Love the narrator too.

Very fun story

it is an exciting plot, my only complaint is about the banter between fights that makes it to easy to turn the fight into sloppy reason where the hero wins.

Thrilling from start to end

I thought this book was really thrilling from start to end. It didn’t take long for the book to ramp up and there were lots of twists and turns throughout. It contained all of the elements you would want for this genre.

This book is amazing and grows on you even if you're not a litRPG fan/don't know what that means. In a world in the future where different stakeholders fight for control over territories and citizens get ping ponged in the mess, you have to be smart and keep yourself in the game of life. As a new alpha agent, Dan is zero rank and his humor won't save him but does hep and grows on you!!! His wit extends intelligence that somehow keeps him going. The action doesn't stop and makes this a great listen and ready for what's next.
