Story
One of Laguna Beach's best-known plastic surgeons may need a new leash on life. Unless he's just taking a very long nap on the bench outside Melinda Langston's Bow Wow Boutique... Dr. O'Doggle continued to give us the silent treatment. Fluffy eyed him intently. I studied him too. Tova Randall wasn't my BFF, to say the least, but I didn't wish her boyfriend any bad luck. My neighbor, Darby, relaxed her grip on Fluffy's leash. The big Afghan lunged toward Dr. O and knocked him over.

Story
It's the Christmas season and veterinarian Kate Turner is not feeling very jolly. She's overworked, unappreciated, and dealing with two dissatisfied clients. Throw in a very complicated personal life and Kate's definitely got a case of the holiday blues. To make matters worse, Kate's ex-boyfriend, Jeremy, is mugged and robbed after they have a heated argument in the hospital parking lot. Then, two of her dissatisfied clients turn up dead (which really gets Kate's tinsel in a tangle). All of these events seem like coincidences, but they add up to something much more venomous.

Fun, Southern Comfort Cozy
Caro Lamont pet therapist has the misfortune to not only have to take care of her neighbors Bengal cats, but deal with a long lost sister that arrives unexpectedly at her door. Caro is at first sorry to tell May that her sister is dead, and but wants to avoid dealing with her at all costs. May is pesty and very needy and and naive and soon wears Caro down to where she feels sorry for her.
No matter what Caro tells herself about not getting involved once it's revealed her neighbor didn't have just a car accident but was murdered, everything conspires to get her deeply involved. The story is fun, has lots of laughs, and moves at a good pace.
The only thing I didn't like was the title and I had a little bit of a problem wrapping my mind around Bengal cats that paint.
Karen Commins does a stellar narration and her accents and personality expressions are right on target. She does the high pitched nasally voiced May so well that you sympathize with Caro about trying to avoid the harpy. Wonderful narration.

Intriguing Murder Mystery
Kitty Kitty Bang Bang was an intriguing and humorous mystery. I loved the quirky characters and the banter between them. The storyline kept me guessing because there was so many suspects and each of them had their own greedy reasons. I highly recommend this book. Wish they kept the same narrator thru every book
I really enjoy this series and love the characters and stories and how they intermix. But the one thing that was very hard for me to get past was the narrators voice in this one. I just wish they would've kept the same narrator for Caro that they had in book one. It was very difficult to get past for me as I had incorporated a certain voice to the characters and then had to try to get use to a whole new one for all them in this book.. That is really my only complaint. Once I finally adjusted to the new narrator the story was still very funny and enjoyable. I'm about to start book 4 in the series and hope it's just as good as all the others were!

Everybody is an art critic
I enjoyed this fun quirky mystery. A murder mystery and animals what more could you want? The characters are fun and I love the long running fight over the brooch, each book is set around one of two cousins as they each solve a mystery. This does mean each book is a stand alone story and the cases get solved, the only exception is to who has the brooch at the end of the book. As the cover shows it is a humorous story and a lot of fun. The mystery is good and has a number of suspects. All in all a fun series.
Caro is attending an art gallery with a differences, all the works of art are painted by cats. The owner of the cats is Carl's neighbour kitty and when she has to leave early she asks Caro to take the two stars of the show home. On the way home she is shocked to come across a car accident and even more to find out her neighbour died in the crash. When kitty's newly found sister April May turns up the pair start to investigate. Well April May does, Caro just tags along to keep her safe, honest.
I liked the voices the narrator gave the characters all except April May she was a bit squeaky for my liking.
