For Milo, everything’s a bore. When a tollbooth mysteriously appears in his room, he drives through only because he’s got nothing better to do. But on the other side, things seem different. Milo visits the Island of Conclusions (you get there by jumping), learns about time from a ticking watchdog named Tock, and even embarks on a quest to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Most Favorite Childhood Story
I have loved this book for most of my life. I first read it when I was about 10 or 11 years old. I have re-read it several times, most recently at 71 years old! It deals with time travel if a sort, and how we as children find ways to survive . This book most certainly kept me company when I really have needed it. About time and the beginning and ending of life .
