Quite a ride!
Fantastic edition to the series! Sam and pals take on the Jinn to rescue friends and along the way have quite an adventure! This book has it all from humor, to sadness, to fighting, to achievement, and a few surprises along the way. Looking forward to the next book! The narrator did a fantastic job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

Amusing, but also a bit odd
Immediately I had a feeling of cold in the pit of my stomach at listening to the start of this book. The warnings of deceit around every corner starts early in this one. Then not even halfway through there are some bizarre descriptions and references that are amusing, but also a bit odd. I must admit I’m finding this one harder to continue listening to at around 3 or 4 hours in. There are enough curiosities and unanswered questions to make you want to not stop yet and it improves by the end enough to get your heart racing again. The middle is just a little more tough.

Wow what a ride
love this series. Saying that for me this started out a little slow, but it picked up speed quickly. Zam and Lila are in store for a lot and their relationship becomes closer. Can't divulge to much without ruining the story but is excellent.

I just love this series!
I love Zamera. I feel like she's growing through the series. She's not cocky, but she's confident enough to do what she has to. Lyla is fantastic too. They make a great team. The world and storylines keep things interesting. The narrator is fantastic. She does such a good job that it's hard to stop listening when real life gets in the way.

This is book 3 in the Desert Cursed Series....
I just LOVE the characters that Shannon Mayer creates... the relationships, and quirkiness of each of them in a pure joy to read about...
Zam, Lila and Max are a team... a very unlikely team... However it works for them....
In this book, they head straight into the Jinn's Dominion... They get one surprise after the other... and pick up a few allies along the way.... Can't wait to see what happens next...
Can't wait to uncover all of the secrets about Zamira.... I sense they will be AWESOME!!!

Half way through this series,and I am already 😢
I know I will certainly miss all the various world's I'm visiting here. This was as good as the first two. Exciting and fun, but sad to. But that is life in every world I guess.
