Opposites Attract

I love the idea of perfect match, it's set the foundation for a great series. The lead characters in this book are not what I was expecting and yet the book and these characters work really well.

Jade is an odd but interesting character, she alternates between spoiled rich girl and normal adult with startling swiftness. She doesn't seem to consider that her actions can affect other people, but once she realizes she cares.

Aiden is headstrong, goes ahead and takes things on and then complains (mentally). He's an interesting combination of strong and vulnerable.

The two of them seem like they shouldn't work and yet...

The book made me laugh several times and I finished it with a smile.

The narration was excellent, great character voices and a strong emotive delivery.

A Perfect match

UPDATE: Audio review. This book was good. (good enough I also listened to it...I am not one that rereads books too many times so if I do it's really good to me.) I do love Charley Ongel's narration. She is one of my favorite female narrators and does a great job on this book. She brings the characters to life.
Jade: Perfect Match is a fun story.
Jade is a wealthy Heiress and author. Her friend Dani won an all-expenses-paid trip on Perfect Match but she is engaged and talks Jade into going. The deal is she has to spend a week with a man chosen for her by Perfect match. She makes a profile she thinks no man will choose but when she gets there she finds herself paired off with a sex Navy Seal.

Aiden has no desire for romance but his mom has other plans setting him up with Perfect Match. He goes so he can meet up with his favorite author for an interview to be a coAuthor. A little fun with a pretty woman couldn't hurt either.
They find they have to spend time together on film for an ad for Perfect Match.
Jade is witty and snarky. She is a spoiled little rich girl. I loved the fact she is an author and not only a romance author but a mystery/suspense author.
Aiden is a sexy Navy Seal and sexy. He is arrogant but has a good heart as well.
I loved the storyline and the romance.
If you are looking for a great summer read, this is a good one!

Charming, Sweet Romance!

This was a very charming and sweet romantic listen. Aiden and Jade have both won an all expense paid vacation on a tropical island where they can get som R&R and work on their book. Aiden is a navy seal looking to learn about writing and Jade is a writer looking for ideas. Neither is looking for love! The book has romance, angst, misunderstandings and some comedy. It is an enjoyable listen. Charley Ongel does a lovely job with all the voices and makes it a great listening experience. I received a free copy and am providing an unbiased review.

Jade and Aiden's Story

Jade signed up for Perfect Match thinking she could win an all-expenses- vacation with her best friend. Except she got paired up with Aiden, whose mother signed him up to be matched with his Perfect Match. Both characters decide to make the best of things and learn they have some things in common, like writing.

The week goes well until a case of mistaken intentions at the end of their time together causes hurt feelings and the couple parts ways. Of course things happen that put them back in touch with each other and they learn if they really might be the perfect match for each other

Fun, sweet and fast-paced story. Enjoyable narrator. All around an easy listen.

Jade's Perfect Match

Jade is an author looking to get away to work on her romance book. Her best friend helps her fill out the applicaiton for the online matchmaking service Perfect Match. They try to outfox the system by having her friend pretend to be a male. But things don't work out that way. Jade is matched with Navy SEAL Aiden, whose mother and sister filled out his application without his knowledge. He's an aspiring author for action books and not looking for love but decides to go for some R&R. Jade also writes action thrillers under a male name since she doesn't think the readers would accept those books from a female author. As they are forced to spend time together, things heat up between them. Will Jade and Aiden get their perfect match even though they weren't looking for it? This is another great story by Rachelle Ayala. I really like how she's able to write about people of diversity and let us see that they are the same as everyone else. Charley Ongel is a wonderful narrator and brings the story to life.

Just what the doctor ordered!

Ayala believes in the direct approach. The best romances are the least complicated ones, yet it's the emotions that bring on the complications. Jade is at it's best a relaxing tale of angst, heart and humor. As a romance writer Jade wants to believe in the fantasy, but reality keeps bringing her down. Aiden needs a little down time away from his dangerous career and matchmaking mom. A little fun in the sun is just what the doctor ordered. Or is it just what their hearts crave? Perfect Match has all the ingredients to have readers believing in love.

A Getaway to Remember

What a marvelous story about a romance author who has sworn off love! Most people would agree that this seems unthinkable, but as in life people are not always kind and honest. When the pain and betrayal are more then we can bare, we shut down in order to control the pain and especially any future pain. I was utterly delighted by the stunning twists and turns along the way. How heartening it when fate bends over backwards in order to lead people to where they need to be.

Jade and Aiden captured my heart so effortlessly, and I never wanted it back. These are two extraordinary people who deserved so much more than what life has dealt them. They have boundless potential and unexplored depth that only the most persistent would ever discover. What a breathtaking couple they make! Only time can truly know what is in store for them, and I hope you never give up on your dreams no matter what!

The audio performance is out of this world incredible! This is what all narration aspires to. The masterful mechanics as well as the heart and soul put into each precious character. My mind is still reeling at this glorious journey, and my heart refuses to let it go.

This is a great story from Rachelle . This story has some funny moments , and moments where your wondering what will happen next .

Both Jade and Aiden have one thing in common, they both write actors packed books , both authors.
Jade is signed up to a dating service . Jade gets an idea why not get her friend sign up also but as a male , hopping they will be matched up Nope it didn’t happen.

Aiden is a Navy Seal who needs a rest . His mother thinks it’s time for him to find a wife . His mother signs Aiden up to the same dating service as Jade ( they don’t know each other ).
Aiden needs some rest so he can continue to write. Imagine his scock when he gets matched with Jade .

Completely hooked on this sweet series!

Who said all thriller authors are male? Jade is a romance author, but she also pens action packed thrillers under a pseudonym. When burnt by her lover, she takes a chance with her friend to win a vacation with "her perfect match" to a tropical island to relax. While she wins, she isn't too excited with her match, the handsome navy seal, Aiden. They butt heads together from the very start and when the two call a truce and decide to make the best of their situation, it's evident there chemistry is strong. It is such pleasure to enjoy a book with such ease of flow of the story. Jade and Aiden are so typical of every day that it is easy to understand all their thoughts and issues, but still sit on the sideline and cheer for their success! I loved the two of them, from the fireman carry up the mountain to the helping plot Aiden's novel. Rachelle Ayala shows us how sometimes fate brings together the perfect match!

Charley Ongel narrates this book with the same ease the story has. She smoothly flows through the many characters, each with their own voice and personality. I loved the performance!

Perfect for an afternoon of leisure

This audio was a sweet story, at times funny, as well one filled with misunderstandings. Thus making it perfect for an afternoon of leisure.
Jade Reed and Aiden Lin are the yin and yan in this story. He’s a Navy SEAL whose Chinese mother sends his name in to Perfect Match hoping to receive an invitation to a tropical island with his perfect match. Mom wants him to get married and have kids.
Jade is a romance writer as well as a thriller author using a male pseudonym. Her best friend also manages to send her name to Perfect Match resulting in Jade and Aiden being paired together.
Watching these two opposites interact was fun and delightful. Making it another entertaining story by this author.
