Donovan and I met at a coffee shop to do the suitcase exchange. Turned out, it wasn’t just his voice that was sexy. The man holding my luggage was absolutely gorgeous, and we had an immediate spark. He got me to admit that I’d snooped in his bag and then convinced me to make it up to him by letting him buy me coffee. Coffee led to dinner, dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to spending an entire weekend together. So what did I do to repay him for his kindness? I waited until he was in the shower, then ghosted him.

Born into slavery on the tiny Caribbean island of Montserrat, Doll bought her freedom from her Irish planter father and built a legacy of wealth and power as an entrepreneur, merchant, hotelier, and planter that extended from the marketplaces and sugar plantations of Dominica and Barbados to a glittering luxury hotel in Demerara on the South American continent. Vanessa Riley’s novel brings Doll to vivid life as she rises above the harsh realities of slavery and colonialism by working the system and leveraging the competing attentions of the men in her life

I'm all for a contractual agreement, a quick and clean catapult into the next phase of rich girl life. One that takes little thought, less effort, and zero devotion. It's exactly what I want. Publisher's Summary
Will a 40-year-old woman with everything on the line - her high-stakes career, ticking biological clock, bank account - risk it all for an intensely lusty secret romance with the one person who could destroy her comeback, for good?
Jenna Jones, former It-girl fashion editor, is broke and desperate for a second chance. When she’s dumped by her longtime fiancé and fired from Darling magazine, she begs for a job from her old arch nemesis, Darcy Vale. The beyond-bitchy publisher of StyleZine.com, Darcy agrees to hire her rival - only because her fashion site needs a jolt from Jenna’s old school cred. But Jenna soon realizes she’s in over her head. She’s working with digital-savvy millennials half her age, has never even “Twittered”, and pretends to still be a Fashion Somebody while living a style lie (she sold her designer wardrobe to afford her sketched-out studio, and now quietly wears Walmart’s finest). Worse? The 22-year-old videographer assigned to shoot her web series is driving her crazy. Wildly sexy with a smile Jenna feels in her thighs, Eric Combs is way off-limits - but almost too delicious too resist.
Written by the best-selling author of The Accidental Diva, The Perfect Find is a scandalously sexy, laugh-out-loud funny, utterly quotable saga about star-crossed love and starting over.

A-FREAKING-MAZING!!!
This is a new-to-me author...but man...did she ever speak to me! 40 year old business woman trying to get her life together again after a heartbreak. I'm not all that into age-gap romance, but this was an exception. They faced a lot of obstacles and had to grow up and accept some of the challenges and move on. Just read it...better yet...LISTEN to it! Wesleigh Siobhan solo narrates this book and was amazing! Her voices as Jenna and her friends (Elody and Billie) were so good that you could tell which friend is speaking. And don't get me started about her male voice for Eric! She had me swooning over this man (who is now my new book bae). The story and the way Wesleigh delivered it was *chef's kiss" made me feel like I was watching a movie! Highly recommend this book to everyone and a definite re-listen for me!

I must admit, I was against the whole age difference thing and I still am when it comes to my sons, however, in this story, I fell in love with their love. Awesome ending. Kudos to the narrator. Not once was I confused on who was talking.

Hang in there....it gets so much better
This book started slow but got much better. This was a long book for me but I absolutely love Wesleigh’s narration so I gave it a try. The best part of the book is in the last hour and the final chapter...OMG so cute. But you have to listen to the whole story to fully appreciate the scene. I just love black romance. Nice job Ms. Tia!

Cute story with Perfect narration!
First, let me say BRAVO to Wesleigh for narrating the HECK out of this book. She made every character their own without any confusion, even her male character voices were perfect!
As for the book, with all that Eric and Jenna went though to get to where they ended up, the end was way too rushed for me! It was a super cute story that, despite the cringe worthy age difference, still made me chuckle and swoon over these two! Jenna was a little bit underdeveloped in the maturity area, even having traveled the world and such... But, in so many ways she was just perfect for Eric.
