Publisher's Summary

When your best friend is also your boss, "great ideas" aren't always optional. After all, when you run the largest fashion, gossip, and trend blog in the country, you've got to take risks to keep it edgy.

Believe me. This is edgy.

The idea? For one week, date every male fantasy.

The list?

The Jock

The Rock Star

The Billionaire

The Stepbrother

See how they are all crossed off except one? That's because he's Satan.

And Scottish.

And my best friend's stepbrother.

And there may or may not have been an incident in junior high that he hasn't forgiven me for...but that's history. Or so I hope, because I'm at his mercy for the next week....

The One

Finding The One is difficult and Kristin Vayden tried to make it as fun as possible.

The book was fast paced but lacked depth.

I enjoyed the narration. With had a wide range of characters, accents, mannerisms and both Charley Ongel & Tor Thom delivered stellar performances.

They complemented each other and the book flowed. It made for an enjoyable listening experience.

3 star for the content 4 star for the narration.

Fantastic!

This one is a wonderful story and Tor Thom rocked the Scottish Brogue! Charley Ongel has a perfect female voice and I enjoyed how she can change her voice for each character. I know exactly which one is speaking. So sexy!

First Time with this office and this is "The One"

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This is the first time I have read/listened to a book by Kristin Vayden. I was pretty sure I would like it because I love the narrators and I knew they wouldn't narrate a book that was excellent. This story had the perfect ingredients of exciting, romance and suspense. It was interesting to hear Charley Ongel with a Scottish accent as well as other accents in this one book. He did a great job, as well as Tor's different accents. Enjoyed this book.

Fantastic listen!

Loved this book! Lots of humor, romance, and sexy Scottish accents. Loved the dual narration style from one of my favorite narrator duos, so much fun to listen to and makes the listening experience that much better! I received a free review copy of this Audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Wow!

I was blown away by the performance of the narrators. I loved Tor Thom's Scottish Brogue. That accent melts me. The storyline for this book was fun having a blogger date various types of men and write her opinion on them. I loved Kirby in this story and thought his insight was perfect. His step-sister was both manipulative and smart. Roxy does have a heart of gold where those she loves are concerned. Meredith is full of so much fun and life. I loved the imagery in this book and was happy to discover a new to me author. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. There is a fine line between love and hate. Meredith and Kirby met when they were in 7th grade and at an awkward age.

How many dates before you find The One

Meredith is the accountant at her bff blogging company. Her friend comes up w an idea for the blog...go out on dates w different types of guys and blog about the experience. Of course she guilt tripped Meri into doing the research! The first few dates were a huge bust...then Meri is sent to Scotland to go out w 2 guys...a billionaire annnd, wait for it, BFF’s stepbrother Kirby. Meri and Kirby have always had a love-hate relationship since 7th grade, and they picked up the banter-bickering at the airport. The witty repartee was funny af!! Meri’s 1st date was an English billionaire...they seem to hit it off but Kirby always seemed to be popping up. Will Meri give things a go w English or will Kirby sweep her away? This was a light-hearted yet engaging story with great narration. Totally worth the listen.

Awesome narration and story

This is the first book by this author for me, but it is not going to be my last. I have listened to this narrating duo once before and in that book they were able to keep me listening to a story I was struggling with, but that was not the case for this book. Not only was the story something I wanted to keep going on, it was difficult to put down. I didn’t really read the synopsis for this story, so I didn’t know what to expect and that just made this book so much more enjoyable. It was even better when adding in the fabulous job the narrators did, especially the male narrator as he had so many different accents to portray it was awesome. I will say the author sure kept you on your toes with the laughs and pranks. It was refreshing. There were a few characters in the story that you totally didn’t like. You really felt the pain Meredith experienced on her “dates” and Roxy kept her in the dark mostly about all these blind dates for her blog post. Kirby was a great help in the entire tour guide help even though he had other motives. I am hoping to have more as Roxy needs her own story and there is just so much more that can occur with Meredith and the blog.

When your best friend puts you in the middle of her crazy schemes, you sometimes just have to hang on for the ride.
