Publisher's summary

In this “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of All Your Perfects, a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance can’t stop thinking about her first love.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

Coho FTW

This book was very real, no entertainment was listened to. I felt very much like what I was hearing was important and necessary... Mind you it was challenging and painful, but very necessary.

Colleen has managed to put herself out there in a way that no doubt will leave her feeling naked & exposed but I hope that she can rest easy knowing she will be saving lives with this book.

Olivia did a beautiful job, I can't imagine it was easy to read for this book and she was great.

Oh my god...

That was floor dropping!! Seriously- it seemed like this story had like 3 books in 1, but it was seamlessly put together in one novel that will knock your socks off!! I was in love with every character in this story.
Lily was an amazing heroine that was strong, relatable, and loved her from the start. Ryle is a dark and stormy hero that you can't help but love from the beginning as well. And then Atlas- yum. Even the supporting characters of Elyse and Marshall were hilarious and so lovable. But wow...what twists and turns- definitely an emotional book- so heads up, but a must read!! The narration by Olivia Song was spot on. She nailed it!

Best book I've ever read...

There are no words that can express how good this book is.
A love story none the less but with real life circumstances, this book is my favorite hands down. A heartshattering story with such an empowering ending.

Give it a chance

I generally don't like to read the entire description of books because I think they give away too much. So, part of the way into this book, I made assumptions and settled myself back for a good listen with a simple message.
It's so much more than that. Listen to it.

I wanna be like you

Wow....just wow. I am in tears right now as I write this. This book touched home more than I like to admit. I'm in a similar situation at the moment, not physical abuse but verbal. I believe that abuse can be more than hands on. It has taken me a long time to figure that out. I will be a single mother of 2. It sucks taking that step, but what hurts even more is watching my kids watching him spew hateful words. So this book is the best book that I have read in a very long time. Your best work. Kudos!!!

The words are life changing

I don't write reviews. I usually feel like I cannot even put into words how much a book can touch my heart. Colleen Hoover has been my favorite author since Hopeless. I await her books all year. I don't think there will ever be a book that touches my heart the way this one did. If you only ever read one book in your life, It Ends With Us is the one. Pure Gold

No words

I have never written a book review. I felt compelled to write one for this book ! Growing up in the same type of household as Lily, I was able to gain insight and a point of view that I lacked. I too judged from the outside. Thank you Colleen Hover for stepping outside of your comfort zone!
