Intermittent fasting is one method that you can use to help fix this problem. It first works against the idea that we need to eat five or six meals a day in order to be healthy. Even some popular eating plans ask you to eat that many times in the hopes of keeping your metabolism running fast. But it’s not about how many times you eat but how much you eat that determines the speed of your metabolism. And eating all those times during the day just makes it easier to take in more calories than you need. 

With intermittent fasting, you are going to learn how to concentrate your eating periods into smaller increments. This helps you to avoid the issue with eating too much and can make it easier to cut out calories. There are many diet books out there, but I found this one full of useful information. Most diets say to fill up on any fruits and vegetables, but this book actually went over the fact that there are some vegetables that are not congruent with weight loss and that they should be avoided. It was a helpful book.

This book is awesome. I slanted such immense quantities of effective things from this book. This is a great book, wherein every system for getting increasingly fit is portrayed in detail, there is a sustenance plan, recipes, recommendations. This book has a lot of citations and references from other books that have been condensed into one quick easy to read book on the basics of intermittent fasting. I like that I was able to quickly get what I needed from it. I've started reading some of the books that were referenced, but I was able to quickly start intermittent fasting thanks to this book. I lost 20 pounds in the first three months (with two vacations thrown in there), and I am continuing to lose. It is seriously the easiest thing I've ever done. Thanks to the author for such guide to IF!

Amazing


Excellent book. I had started the ketogenic diet seven weeks ago. As I progressed with the diet the hunger started disappearing. Take the time to read the foreward because it does explain some very useful insights into why things may or may work. Amazing book! Well done..

I also learned about processes such as autophages and protein cycling. Nutrition recommendations were valuable to me. Keto diet is great for eating during breaks in fasting.

This diet increases energy, weight loss and muscle

I have read other books on this subject. This book was very well written. It was a easy and understandable read. The other books I read were a bunch of scientific facts, that were hard to understand. The important difference is, the other book mentioned over and over that you can eat whatever you want on the diet, during your eating window. That information is not true. This book explains the diet very well. I highly recommend it. And the best part is the diet really works.

Lots of valuable information. I really enjoyed and benefited from this book. Lots of practical advice to help you on your intermittent fasting/diet journey. I am pretty confident I can now get to any weight I want. I think the book is important in that it helps you break long held thoughts and misconceptions about eating and going without food. It also discusses other lengths of fasts that can range from 36 hour to weeks. It is so flexible you can do it anytime. I am excited to attempt my first extended fat fast before I work my way into a true extended fast.

Great Book.


FINALLY! Someone who knows. I've been training my female clients on the magic of intermittent fasting for years. People just don't realize the complexity of the human body. If you do the same thing every day, your body adapts for survival, and will inherently store your fat. Weight loss is a bear when your body fights you constantly. This book doesn't get technical with telling of the Leptin hormone to slim you while grellin makes you hungry, and Cortisol keeps you fatter. That's for a trainer. Just know intermittent fasting, and 'cheat days' confuses your body, and stops the plateaus. Read this book to aid with your weight loss journey.
