Publisher's Summary

I don't do romance. I don't do love. I certainly don't do relationships. Women are attracted to my power and money, and I like a nice ass and a pretty smile. It's a fair exchange - a business deal for pleasure.

Meeting Beth Harrison in the first-class cabin of my flight from Chicago to London throws me for a loop, and everything I know about myself and women goes out the window.

I'm usually good at reading people, situations, the markets. I know instantly if I can trust someone or if they're lying. But Beth is so contradictory and confounding, I don't know which way is up.

She's sweet but so sexy, she makes my knees weak and mouth dry.

She's confident but so vulnerable, I want to wrap her up and protect her from the world.

And then she fucks me like a train and just disappears, leaving me with my pants around my ankles, wondering which day of the week it is.

If I ever see her again, I don't know if I'll scream at her, strip her naked, or fall in love. Thank goodness I live in Chicago and she lives in London, and we'll never see each other again, right?

EXCELLENT "DISCOVERY" !!!!!

I had never heard of, read nor listened to Louise Bay before, so this author and this listen was a very welcome discovery for me. The plot, the wording, the timing was on point, and it was not an incomplete serial. Indigo Nights was hot-hot, not nasty (there is a difference); I enjoyed the listen very much. AND of course there was SEBASTIAN YORK and Andi Arndt!! I will be listening to more of Ms. Bay's work.

Very good!

If you could sum up Indigo Nights in three words, what would they be?

Great love story!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Indigo Nights?

Dylan's romancing after Beth left for London. He is perfect.

What about Andi Arndt and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like?

Everything. The emotion in their voice put me in Beth and Dylan's heads. They made me feel the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I can't say I had any extreme reactions but I did love the book and the audio.

When you only buy a book for the narrator

Sabastion York is what makes this whole book tolerable. No plot, just sex. You expect more, however the author drops great opportunities in order to add more dry sex.

Loved it!!

What made the experience of listening to Indigo Nights the most enjoyable?

From the beginning is capture me...

What did you like best about this story?

I like how Beth was independent women and the challenges she faced, she didn't go back to drinking. We need more positive stories like this book.
Dylan is very interesting and sexy, I like how he didn't allowed his ex-wife to get back into his life.

Heated and

Wealthy, sexy man, Dylan, seated in first class with Beth one row away. She's not having any of it after hearing about his reputation. With that, Dylan sets his eyes on her. She's a recovering alcoholic, and hasn't had sex in a LONG time. When their plane is laid over for the night, Sebastian York (I mean Dylan) knows how to say and do sexy right! Dirty talking, romance, low drama and worth the credit.

Disappointed

If all you're looking for in a book is sex, cakes, sex, cakes, sex, cakes, then this is for you. If you're actually looking for a story that includes one good food-sex scene, you'd be more satiated reading Henry Fielding's classic "Tom Jones."

Not even the wonderfully talented duo of narrators, Arndt/York, could save this one.

Thankfully, this is the 4th Louise Bay book I've read and not the first. If that were the case, I would never have read another.

A FUN, SEXY & LIGHT CHICK LIT LOVE STORY

This book was a gamble for me because I hadn't heard of this author before but I got it for three reasons - I thought the cover image was sultry, I love a Billionaire bad boy story and I love the narration of Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. And thankfully my gamble paid off because this was a sweet, light, sexy, fun and very compelling listen with not a lot of angst, suspense or drama.

Beth is a beautiful loving recovering alcoholic who'd been in a toxic relationship 3 yrs earlier that had sent her over the top and left her with bad memories, insecurities and trust issues. Dylan is a hot, dirty talking drool (and sigh) worthy Billionaire Playboy and he too had been burned before - so now his sex life is just made up of very casual hookups with absolutely no strings or commitments. He isn't arrogant but he is confident in his looks and the effect they have on women who all vie for his attention, his body... and his money - and he is happy to indulge.

So when his flight is delayed and he has an unexpected overnight stay... Dylan thought what better way to spend it than having a steamy one night of fun with his beautiful fellow passenger. But in between the chemistry and flirty banter he soon learnt that Beth is no greedy superficial shallow lay and this woke up his tender, sweet, protective, possessive and vulnerable side - and Beth initially trod very carefully with Dylan to protect her sobriety and her heart. And what started out as a fling soon turned into love... but an annoying ex Fiancé and a secret spilled soon derailed everything.

This was a quick, easy and predictable listen because you just know that when the Hero has a secret and naively holds back on sharing vital information with the Heroine then it's a ticking time bomb and that secret (once out) is going to blow up and cause major damage. I have no problem with insta-romance but I know some of you do - so be warned this is one of those books. It was enjoyable, very addictive, entertaining, sexy, passionate and had a loveable cast of characters but it wasn't deep. Dual POV's, standalone and a HEA was eventually reached after the double whammy of blows to Beth's heart that was accidentally and innocently inflicted by Dylan.

Worth a credit? Yes... as long as you're not looking for anything more than a very good, well narrated and light insta-everything romance between two people whose pasts have made them vulnerable to doubts, trust insecurities and shaped who they had become. But once they finally overcame those insecurities their relationship blossomed.

No one can eat that much cake and not get fat

If they weren't having sex, they were eating cake. I'm sure the sequel to this book would have to include Weight Watchers.

Nice, easy listen.

This is a light, easy, entertaining listen. The story was interesting and humorous at times. The narrator did a great job. It was just a nice easy listen.

I was provided this book as an ARC.

Nice.

Indigo Nights did not blow me away. I was not desperate to need to know what happens next as I was not drawn into the story. This is a pity as the narration was good, the story was good but overall I was not blown away.

Same old, same old

Two things I found off-putting about this book - one is the fact that it is all about sex and nothing else and the second is - and this is the first time I thought this because I have heard many of her books, I did not really like the way Andi Arndt narrated this book, she was too breathy and too “light” or insubstantial, I did not really feel her as the character.

I was gripped from start to finish.

I came across Louise Bay by recommendation from a friend and now I just have to read everything. I found myself following all the emotions and really feeling them. When I knew how Beth or Dylan were going to react or feel I was right there with them.
The narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York is always great, their voices have such expression and depth of feeling to them. I would recommend this to anyone.

First Louise Bay book

Enjoyed the audio book and the narration. Some books are truly cringeworthy, but this was not. Probably would not listen to again, but was an enjoyable way to pass the time.

What a lovely love story of honesty and hot love making. The characters were just awesome together. The narrative was top notch! These two narrators are my favourites.
