Good addition to this series

Beau and Vivian's installment to this series was an enjoyable addition to this series. In this standalone read their story was an enjoyable one to read.

Vivian, a famous singer is hiding in London from her life where she is trying to heal from the deception of her former fiancé who was leaking news about her to the paparazzi. She has a chance meeting with Beau while trying to enjoy being 'normal' and getting coffee for herself in public. She has some enjoyable walks and a trip to the art gallery with him until it comes to an end when her identity is discovered, and she embarks on a fake engagement with Beau.

Beau, healing from the wounds of his attempt to have a relationship is back home in London and back to practicing medicine while in between adventures. He is feeling unhappy with his life and begins to think about forming a philanthropic organization to assist kids with being able to experience adventures like the ones that he has gone on in his past. He enjoys the friendship that she forms with Vivian and he too is not looking for a relationship but when circumstances change for Vivian he offers to enter into a fake relationship with her only things unwittingly turn into more.

The pair have chemistry that is off the charts and the banter between them was enjoyable. Their story was an enjoyable read where the plot moved along well. The struggles that the pair faced where not relatable to the average person the underlying issues - overcoming the deceit of someone you trusted for Vivian and the wanting to assist others in a different manner for Beau were relatable. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous books as well. Overall, this was a good read that I enjoyed from start to finish and would recommend to others.

i love hiw he went from strangers to friends to lovers. good narrator. This story is a good HEA story.

I just finished this with a huge smile on my face! Bravo, Louise Bay. Thank you for a story that made my heart happy. Excellent narration by Shane East and Andi Arndt! Their talented voices fit the characters perfectly. ❤️❤️

British Hero+ American Heroine= SWOON!

Louise Bay is one of my most read authors of 2023. She consistently writes fun, engaging characters with real emotions and struggles.
This is book 4 in her Doctors series, but can be read as a standalone.
It follows Beau and Vivian.
Vivian is a superstar American singer who escapes to the UK after a upsetting breakup with her high school sweetheart. Beau is a doctor who loves to experience the thrills of life by traveling and trying every new adrenaline rush. But after an unfortunate moment on top of a ski slope he starts to evaluate what he really wants from his life. Beau and Vivian have the funniest meet cute at a coffee shop!
He does not recognize her as the famous singer she is and that helps her to be more comfortable around him. Pretty soon they find themselves Fake Dating and Engaged!

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook version and Shane East does a fantastic job as Beau. He's funny and has all the cute bantering moments. That British accent just never gets old!
Andi Arndt is perfect as Vivian. Her male voice and British accent is so spot on!

I will for sure be continuing this series because I love this British family of doctors and cant wait to see what happens next!

Captivating listen

I am a big fan of this Author but I was not sure about this one. I am not fond of superstar romances, most are shallow and boring. Not this one!, all the characters were written with depth and so much emotion. Of course the Cove family connection is a bonus in all the Doctors series books. Beau's dirty talk was swoon worthy. Which the narrator pulled off great. This romantic story was a captivating listen.

I just devoured this story

I really can't tell you what. It was about this story but I could not put it down. I mean she's a rock star he's a doctor. I'd love the characters I love the story line. But then again I love all the coves. These books about all these doctors have just been fabulous. This family is fun I love the interaction with the family. But I really like the story in line about how she didn't know who to trust. I just really really like it. And the narrators wow you can't go wrong with a british Narrator love the accent. But let's show some love for the female narrator because she did a fabulous job. These 2 kept me in this story. I was so invested in this to see what was going to happen. And the narrators just elevated it and kept me right there.

This storyline was very light but definitely kept me so interested that I didn’t want to stop listening. Definitely one that you did not know what was going to happen next which when you listen to as many as I do is something hard to come by. Good well done by author and voice narrators 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Can't go wrong with any of Bay's books. Great main characters with swoon worthy romance. Andi Arndt and Shane East deliver as Vivian and Beau. A great addition to The Doctor series and it's fun getting back in with the Cove family. can't wait for the next one.

Louise has mastered the art of the fake relationship trope, which happens to be one of my all-time favourites to read and listen to. While I thought Mr. Notting Hill from her Misters series was my ultimate favourite, "Dr. Fake Fiance" has managed to claim the top spot in my heart, and no one is more shocked than I am!

Louise creates characters that are not only relatable but also immensely endearing. Beau and Vivien are the epitome of a swoon-worthy couple. Their chemistry is electric, and their banter is witty and their journey from a fake engagement to something deeper is beautifully written, and I couldn't help but cheer them on in their happily ever after. It's impossible not to fall head over heels for a dashing adrenaline-loving doctor and a successful pop star in hiding from a global scandal. Their meeting may have been accidental, and what started off as a fake relationship might be the stuff of fairytales, but their chemistry is scorching, and their love is undeniably real.

I adore Louise and she has once again knocked it out of the park with "Dr. Fake Fiance" – it has it all – humour, heart, and a generous dose of sizzle that will leave you breathless. To say that I devoured this book is an understatement. I was utterly consumed by the story, and I couldn't put it down. The banter with the Coves is absolutely delightful, and the nostalgic retro vibes with classic board games added a layer of charm that tugged at my heartstrings but also blushing and reaching for the fan...oooft the spice was nice!..needless to say, I'll never look at Operation, Cluedo, or Twister quite the same way, and I’m so here for it and wouldn't have it any other way!

Shane East, my absolute favourite Brit, brings the irresistibly cheeky Beau Cove to life with his sonorous, swoon-worthy tones like no other.
