Great Hockey Romance

This was a great hockey romance including grief. The downside, for me, was the narrators did not do a duet. Even though there was a male narrator and a female narrator, the male’s POV chapter was read entirely by the male.

Easton & Maya stole my heart

Maya was cheated on by her former hockey bf, so she swore off dating hockey players. Easton was so in love and determined to win Maya from the first time they met. He defines cinnamon roll, obsessed bf. Adding Easton Blake to my book boyfriend list.

Both narrators were good, but Alex Kydd is one of my favorites. He played the part to perfection.

Sweet, Spicy and Refreshing Hockey College Love

Stephanie Rose and Alex Kidd always hit the mark for me! They did an excellent job narrating.

This story was so sweet. Easton knew what he wanted and went and got it by being a stand up and caring guy. I loved that there was no miscommunication or unnecessary drama between the couple. Maya does a lot of healing with the help of Easton and he shows up for her when she needs it. Perfect amount of spice (open door) and romance. I also think there was a good amount of hockey without being too much or not mentioned enough. Overall just such a refreshing and spicy story!

Sweet, feel good hockey romance

This was cute, low drama, feel good hockey romance. I needed a break from a high drama series and this was exactly what I needed. I wasn't a fan of the way the narrators did the opposite gender voices but it was still a good read or listen. I'll totally come back to this one when I need a chill feel good book.

I really enjoyed Iced Out! Easton Blake is set up to be a bit of a cocky hockey player, but I feel like we see way more of his good guy side, especially with Maya. He is very determined to show her that good guy side and he really does a good job. I enjoyed seeing him try to ware her down and show not all hockey players are jerks. Maya was a great heroine and it was fun seeing her try to fight her clear chemistry with Easton. I did really like their love story, but I did want a touch of angst or more drama though. Overall really good read and I look forward to reading more Veronica Eden, as this was my first.

Sweet story

This is a favorite book of mine. I’ve listened to the audiobook 3 times now.
The story is just so sweet. The MMC is adorable, he’s kind of cocky but also super sweet and charming. And the FMC is cool. I enjoyed the banter between them.

I like the narrators. They did a good job.

A beautiful hockey romance. A love that grows from their first meeting. Highly recommend to all those who love romance and hockey.
