Awesome narration!

This Novel is very well written and narrated!! I am extremely glad to have purchased this book and found a new author to love!!

Yep, worth it

I was iffy about this book, but I’m glad I took a chance on it. It had enough spice and enough drama. Sometimes with paranormal romances it all spice and nothing else or no spice at all. This book has both. I wish there was a book #2 about her sister or maybe there is and I just don’t know about it. This book is definitely worth a credit though

Read it

My husband picked this book for us to listen to together and i honestly wasn’t sure about it at first. This book is great! Spicy scenes are 10/10 plot is 10/10 and the way the author has the POV’s set up is great! Definitely a good read if you’re into the fantasy/supernatural romance genre!

A Fine Read

When I read a book I can skim over or skip the sex scenes. It is harder to do in a talking book as it jumps only in 30 second intervals. The rest of the book was fine and I enjoyed the distraction while I was driving from Washington to California.

Amazing and well AMAZING BOOK

Story summed up
This story starts out with a world gone bad. The women are used and abused. There are two sisters and one hopes to be married but gets chosen to be sacrificed. The stronger sister steps in and takes her place.
After the king kicks her out of there kingdom to a land full of monsters. She does not give into the grief but fights her way past it and keeps traveling. Running into new creatures and she survives. Some big time monsters notice her and can’t help but get close to see this small fighter.
She makes many deals and gets into many troubles. But she has her eyes set on a goal. The monster she is supposed to fear but does not. She feels lust.

My take on things
This is a well done story line. Like wow. I had this saved in my wish list since it was released and always thought I would try a different book.
Fantastic story with lots of steam but the steamy bits did not take over the story. Which was well done. Cause with how many sexy parts they had. You think it would turn into word porn. Nope. The story takes all your attention and man is it good. I have listened to god knows how many books and this is one of my favs. I could not guess any outcomes but was always surprised. They had your romance built in and you felt part of that relationship. The drama and suspense had you biting your nails. Action fighting parts were great too.
The main characters were many. Even though they had a lot of people to be the main characters. You felt connected to all of them. You got some back story and the present emotions. You knew who was who and what you liked about them. The main female character was strong woman. One of the best I’ve read on. Normally reading over books on these types. They make the woman weak and depend on the man to built them up. But not her. She started out strong and grew even stronger. The men were not weak being with her. All strong characters that supported her and did not think her weak or bully her for being a woman.

I really do love a lot of aspects about this book and I wish other books would do the same but it’s not as common. They eventually make a woman depend on the man. They normally make men ass holes or think they are the main providers. Normally books with this much sexy bits takes away from the romance or storyline. This book is not normal is a great way.

The readers/narrative was top notch great. They brought emotions through the words. They helped to connect the story to the listener. They were able to do different characters voices and not have them blend.
I really wish Troy had some more parts to read. They were both great anyways. But I love Troy’s voice.
If they did a duet, ahhh that would be awesome. But no complaints here. Reading was the best.

I highly suggest if you love books with steam, mystery, drama, fantasy, romance, bad ass storyline, and strong female and male characters. You get this one. Not to forget the great narrators who will bring the story alive.
This is my first book from this author and I really really really hope this awesomeness keeps up. I’m just about to get the second book. So please keep it up.

Thank you to author for the wonderful artwork created. My favorite part was the storyline kept going strong through so many things going on. It’s getting hard to find books like that. I’ve gone through many bummers so this made me happy.
