Where is the accompanying pdf mentioned?

Great book connecting the dots to your health!

Great book with easy to understand steps to achieve optimal health and wellness. As a health coach I’m happy to see that he has validated so much that I am seeing with my clients! The gut/brain connection is so real, and both need to be addressed for optimal wellness. Worth the listen!

Better to read 

I’ll just start by saying this is probably a better read than it is a listen just because of the content. Unfortunately, I feel like he said the same thing over and over and over and over in every chapter with a little bit of extra info tacked on. I had to fast forward a lot because I felt like it was repetitive. Again if I had chosen to read the book, I probably would’ve highlighted certain bits and pieces, and been less annoyed.

Absolutely loved this book!

Let me start by saying I have ready every "health + wellness" book on the market and done every single "diet" and this book has totally transformed me. I waited 8 weeks after I read it to review it because typically, I will read a new book, get super motivated only to go back to old habits less than a few weeks later. I paired this book with Dr. Mindy Pelz's "Fast like a Girl" and it has been a game changer for me!

I know all the principals of healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle but for the last few years I have been on a yo-yo dieting roller coaster trying everything new just to go back to eating in a way that did not suit my body or my brain. One huge takeaway from this (and from "Fast like a Girl") has been to add more complex carbs into my diet. In the past, I was afraid of carbs, I would do SUPER low carb that would work for a few days but then I would have intense cravings and grab for sugar and simple carbs, binge and then try to fast it off days later, a vicious cycle. Complex carbs mixed with clean proteins, good fats and general mindfulness is the formula for me. I have had VERY minimal sugar the last 8 weeks, yesterday I had a bite of ice cream while at lunch with my kids only to throw the rest out, this has never happened in my entire life. The mind, gut connection is so real.


This book has brought me back to life and I cannot say enough good things about it! I am loving food again, losing weight and the best part is my brain feels clear and happy. With food as my medicine, I feel amazing!

Dissapoiting

I was hoping to have much more insight and info on how to treat the gut and practical advices, but is a book on overall health with general advices that I have heard before.
