This was a cute book, and I really enjoyed it. I loved Odette’s friendship with Izzy, they were so supportive of each other! I anticipated the 3rd act, but it still made me sad for all involved. So happy they found their HEA.

I loved the dance Odette and Noah kept up in the beginning; it was fun watching the tension build between them. I didn’t enjoy how much Odette laid into the family curse. It didn’t just influence her decisions, it ran her life, and she blamed all negative things that happened to her on the curse and took zero accountability for any of her own actions that contributed.

Chloe Ryan and Nelson Hobbs narrated this book. It was my first time listening to them and while it wasn’t my favorite performance, I look forward to listening to them again in the future.

A little best friends brother with some age gap…yes please

This story was entertaining Odette is absolutely hilarious I loved Her personality so much! Noah such a grump! The two of them are perfect! The fact that the person who didn’t want them together brought them together *chefs kiss*. I really Enjoyed the banter between these two and the story was sweet and wholesome! The age gap…..who doesn’t love an age gap where the fmc had a huge crush for so long! Such a good read/listen. If you enjoy best friends brother, age gap, grumpy/sunshine this is a story for you!

Both narrators were great for this story. They brought these two to life so well. I’m very interested to see what’s next in this series

Light and bingeable

Grumpily Ever After is such a fun and bingeable read. I love the small town and the animal side characters, who gave that quirky and cute vibes. Noah, a grump, and sunshine Odette were so enjoyable to read especially their banters.

This is light, tropey and a bit predictable but in a comforting way. Looking forward to the next book!

Hot chemistry!

Noah and Odette's story started as a best friend's older brother, but it turned into really the man of Odette's dreams. Noah had always been Izzy's older brother, 12 years older that Odette and Izzy. Odette crushed on him for most of her life, but never in her wildest dreams did she think anything would happen.

Noah had always looked at Odette as a sister, but now that he had moved back to town and Odette was all grown up, he no longer had sisterly thoughts about her.

These two had a bunch of chemistry. Both of them had things holding them back from relationships, so when they started hooking up, they thought that was all it would be. Little did they know that they were what each other was missing. They filled the holes that life had left in them. The age different didn't matter and they were perfect soul mates.

I enjoyed this story. It was a little slow for me at first, but then I got into it. I loved watching Odie and Noah fall for each other. I predicted what was going to happen so wasn't at all surprised at the end, but loved it anyways. Really hoping for Ezra's book quickly!

I listened to this one and the narrators did a great job with this one. I would have loved to have listened to it in duet form, but the narrators did a good job with both voices.

Perfect for the hopeless romantic

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I loved the chemistry between Odette and Noah. Noah was not as grumpy as I thought he'd be. He's a sweetheart and someone who'd do anything for the people in his life. The fear of heartbreak due to past experiences, in both these main characters was so strong that they almost missed out on love. And yet, throughout the story the chemistry and banter between them made me root for them from the very beginning. The romance is sweet and the spicy scenes were great. The narration by Chloe Ryan and Nelson Hobbs was enjoyable. This one is a good story for the hopeless romantic who loves the best friend's brother sneaking around, secret romance tropes.
