Sweet family story

This was an emotional ride. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes sappy. Overall recommend. Heart warming and a fair amount of spice!

First book by LJ Evans…

I enjoyed this book. It had a whole lot going on in it. I will say, this time all that “extra stuff” at least played a part in the main plot. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read a book and all that “extra plot stuff” just gets in the way.

Charlotte North and Lee Samuels both did a fantastic job!

What an amazing love story!

This is the first time that I have read or listened this author. It is an amazing book with many twists and turns! Can’t wait to read The Hatley Family book #2!

DNF...😐

Didn't like the story. Hated McKenna's character, popping back up, making demands. I was on her team, up until she came back wanting Maddux, even though she thought he had a famiky....then, she started to make demands. Also, I hope that I will never be an over bearing mother like Maddux's mother - she should've honored her son's wishes and allowed him to choose whether or not to include Mc kenna into his daughter's life, in his own time.

pretty good story. story line was good. loved how he stepped up and took the little girl. I hope there is a book 2
