Secret Best Friend’s Brother Crush

Meet Me At Midnight by Max Monroe. This is my seventh book by Max Monroe and I’m never disappointed. Beau and June have been in each other’s lives since she became best friends with his sister. She has had a crush on him for years, but her insecurities have kept her from saying anything. Beau has always been nice to her, but viewed her as a sister. Now, they work together and she contacts him on an app the company is trying to win. She also hopes that she will be able to have him in a way she never has. As they communicate via the app, they both know it could blow up in their faces, but they can’t stop. I loved how they got to know each other on a deeper level, without ever seeing each other or the stress of outside influences. The one wrench in their dating (once he learns who she is) the fact they’ve been lying to everyone, especially his sister/her best friend. Their relationship was actually really sweet and near the end my heart was breaking for both. His grand gesture, one that he does at work, using what started their relationship, is fantastic. I highly recommend this book.

loved everything about this book!!!! story line was very interesting I loved the narrators it made it so fun!!!

Loved the book except for Avery. I didn’t like a single thing about her. Liked Bo and Avery’s parents though.

Cute like Jane Austen

I thought that it was great without too much sexual. It reminds me of Jane Austen but in the future.

I loved the premise of this one and the narrators did a fantastic job but unfortunately overall ended up not being a favorite for me.

Beau & Juniper

This is a swoon worthy binge read that will have you cackling at every turn of the page. Juniper Perry has had a crush on Beau since she was just a teen. She is now in her early 20s and she’s still crushing on Beau. Beau is Juniper’s best friend, Avery’s older brother.

She is interning for the summer at Beau’s family's marketing firm. Where Beau is a marketing executive where she overhears a co-worker conspiring against Beau’s marketing campaign so she uses an anonymous app to contact him to tell him. What starts out as an innocent way to communicate, turns into a beautiful relationship with the best banter and chemistry that blossoms into so much more. This read has some really heartfelt moments of vulnerability and sweetness between June and Beau. I have to say I did find Avery to be obnoxious and I wanted to strangle her at times.

I ended up adding the audiobook to this read. Alexander Cendese is a new narrator to me. I found the combination of CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese to be the perfect combo in giving all the emotions of this laugh out loud read.

Such A Cute Story

My second time listening to this book.

I enjoyed the story. Not too dark, which was perfect for me as my real life world seems to be falling apart and going into a dark place. So, the fact that this story doesn't go way too dark was perfect for me at this time in my life.

Although, I wanted to knock some sense into the parents of Juniper. SMH & rme. Ugh! Let's Not go there.

Overall, it was a cute and beautiful story that I don't mind reading, oops listening to, again. 😉

Loved it must read / listen to!

Loved loved loved this book! Another great book by Max and Monroe. I loved the Characters in this book and can’t wait for the 2nd book to come out in this series. Now off to another book by Max Monroe.
