Cammy & JP

I loved this book.
I mean, if I am being fair, I love all of Kenna King's books. The Hawkeyes series was one of my first sports romance series and started my addiction.
Now, to begin the journey of the rookies! I am so excited!
Kenna King NEVER disappoints. Her storytelling is done so exquisitely.
I was so excited to get Cammy's story!
Cammy is a strong, stubborn, self-made, and independent woman, and I love her for that.
JP, our FMC is a handsome, cocky, rich, hockey player with a secret in his past that has previously ruined his relationship with Cammy.
JP has pursued Cammy for years. When the time comes and Cammy finally decides to give JP a chance, something happens that ruins things between them (I do not want to give anything away, so I am leaving it at that!).
Fast forward, Cammy is working for the Hawkeyes and wants to get a promotion. JP has been brought onto the Hawkeyes team and is being trained by none other than Cammy's Dad, Mr. Seven Wrenley, the former Hawkeyes goalie, now coach.
I love the found family in this book. The representation of strong female friendships. The independence of Cammy.
Just a few of your tropes: coach's daughter, second chance romance, man obsessed, teddy bear, rising above, and self-discovery.
I can't say enough about this book and how much I adored it. I laughed and I cried.
The plot was structured beautifully, and Kenna brought in the old Hawkeye family and melded them with the next generation so superbly.
As with all of her characters, they were all so well developed, easy to connect with, and the chemistry was outstanding.
If you love hockey romances, sports romances, or romance, you will like this book.
I can't wait for the next book and to get to know more of the next generation of Hawkeyes!

story line was great. Love Second Chance romance this one made me wonder what happened finally got the answer. Was a great love story love a happy ending
