LOVED IT

This story was a superb way to begin this series, and CJ and JF absolutely slayed the narration.
From the fiery, feisty banter to the scorching hot, steamy scenes, their portrayal of Aston and Skylar was flawless.

Sexual tension, chemistry for days, tender and heartwarming moments, alongside some anxiety-inducing events, the best sort of friends and family; this book had a bit of everything.
Add in an adorable five-year-old, and I was absolutely in love.

I was sucked in from the beginning and came out the other side of this audiobook with a smile on my face and a sense of anticipation for the next book.

This may have been the first time I have enjoyed Ms Saman's words, but it definitely won't be the last.
In fact, if you need me, you will find me neck deep in her back catalogue!

emotional, high-stakes romance

J. Saman proves once again why she is a go-to author for emotional, high-stakes romance in Forever Undone. This story is absolutely perfect, delivering a masterclass in the "marriage of convenience" and "brother’s best friend" tropes. We follow Skylar, a feisty pediatric nurse, and Aston, a broody trauma surgeon and single father who is fiercely protective of his young daughter. After a complicated past and a shared "mistake" of a kiss years ago, the two find themselves as accidental roommates. When Skylar realizes she’s pregnant by a persistent, toxic ex-boyfriend, Aston steps in with an unexpected proposal: a marriage of convenience to provide her protection and his daughter much-needed stability.

What follows is a beautiful, "hotter than hot" journey filled with sassy banter and undeniable chemistry. J. Saman expertly weaves layers of complicated twists and emotional depth into the plot, making the transition from a business arrangement to a real, protective love feel both earned and intense. Watching Aston go from an arrogant, irritatingly handsome doctor to a man who claims Skylar’s baby as his own is incredibly moving.

The experience is elevated to another level by the narration of CJ Bloom and JF Harding. This "dream team" is everything a listener could want, perfectly capturing the steam, the laughs, and the raw "feels" of the story. Between the high-tension medical setting and the heartwarming family dynamics, this is a seamless, must-read (or must-listen) romance that proves some things are worth falling apart for.

Forever Undone

I have loved every book I have read by J. Saman & Forever Undone is one of my new favorites! A brother's best friend trope hooks me every single time but with the added plot twists once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! Ashton & Skylar's story was packed full of emotion, spice, banter, & true love among all the chaos.

The duet narration for this audiobook was fantastic. CJ & JF were the perfect pair to bring this amazing story to life. They both truly gave thier all to these amazing characters & made me feel like I was a part of the family right alongside them!

If you love workplace romances with banter for days, & a found family trope that will bring tears to your eyes look no further.♡

As Always Happy Reading

sweet, swoony and spicy

This had me swooning and blushing. Aston & Skylar shared a kiss on Valentine's Day two years earlier and he instantly pulled away. Now he's moving back to town with his daughter in tow, and sharing her brother’s condo.

I love the instant connection Skylar had with Aston's daughter, Zoe. She liked Zoe before she liked Aston, which made the decision to marry Aston easy. She would be the positive female influence in Zoe's life and in return, the marriage would get Zoe's crazy ex/baby daddy to leave her alone.
