New Series!!!!

The audiobook was phenomenally narrated by Andi Arndt & Christian Fox. They really delivered on the banter, emotions, & chemistry! This was a fantastic enemies to lovers family feud situation with some twists along the way. I loved the workplace romance aspect as the two were forced to work together. This book left me hooked on these characters and I can't wait for the next book!

Loved this romance but I the tight knit family that will drop everything for each other was the star in my eyes! And the girl friends! What a fabulous group of women!

Close Family, Enemies to Lovers

Okay, I’m so excited for this new series!! This was such a strong and charming introduction to the Whitman family, and I can already tell Willow is going to take us on an incredible journey with each sibling’s story.

Goldie is an interior designer, but her true passion lies in art. When she attends an art show, she’s unexpectedly struck by a piece—and not in a good way. She ends up going off on the artist for his architectural perspective in the artwork… only to later learn the artist is Milo. Milo is the softest MMC, the kind who quietly captures your heart and refuses to let go. The banter between these two was phenomenal—sharp, witty, and layered with emotion that gave their connection real depth.

Goldie’s family completely stole the show, too. Their text threads had me laughing out loud, and their close-knit bond was so refreshing to read. When Goldie returns home, fate steps in and she runs into Milo again—this time he’s working with her father on plans to build a cozy, family-focused country resort.

This story had so many fun twists and heartwarming moments, and it perfectly sets the stage for what’s to come. I cannot wait to dive deeper into this family’s world in the next books!

After one very annoying (but admittedly sexy) encounter with Milo Lombardi, he’s the last person she wants to see again… so of course, they end up working together every single day. The banter? Perfection! The tension? So hot 🥵 . And every time Milo smirked or opened his mouth, I couldn’t help but smile.

Willow Aster nails that mix of charm, heat, and heartache that keeps you completely invested. It’s the kind of story that makes you laugh, swoon, and maybe tear up a little. Take This Heart is the perfect start to the Windy Harbor series and I’m already impatient for book two.

Love Milo

Narrated by Andi Arndt and Christian Fox. I love Andi and I believe this may be my second or third audio with Christian and I really enjoyed him with Andi. They were great together and I enjoyed how cohesive they were. As far as the story, it was a good story but Goldie was not my favorite character. Yes I understand her ex diid a number on her but her attitude towards Milo was unnecessary and combative. Yet she did not like when it came to Ava, speaking of that when things blew up, Goldie's action toward Milo, unfair. Milo was a good guy and was always trying to prove he wasn't her ex. I do say I absolutely loved the family bond between her and her family, Milo and her and Milo and his parents.

So sweet

Goldie Whitman is the only sister amongst all the Whitman boys, full of spunk and opinions, she isn't afraid to speak her mind and stand up for the ones she loves. When her big mouth gets her in trouble at an exhibition unveiling a new art installment in her favorite spot in the city, and she happens to share her feelings with the architect himself, she holds her head up high but proceeds to scurry away. But her tenacity only made Milo Lombardi spark with an instant intrigue for her; a smart, gorgeous woman who isn't intimidated by his status or wealth, but instead humbled him.
When Goldie and her siblings are summoned by their father to Windy Harbor and discovers that Milo has been hired to head a huge renovation project that her father just invested into, she isn't happy about having to be so close to the man she can't seem to get out of her head. Their attraction and chemistry is instant, but they fight more than they love and when family rivalries and life-changing secrets are all brought to the front, they have to navigate all of that to find a path into the love that they know has been brewing underneath all along. Milo is the quintessential book boyfriend and he never gives up on Goldie, admiring her from afar and worshipping her every chance he gets. They compliment each other so well and his steadfast love for her was my favorite part about this story. I can't wait for the next installment and to see and learn more about the residents of Windy Harbor!
Andi Arndt and Christian Fox are two of my favorite narrators and I loved them together on this title. I've heard them together on other titles before and just like Goldie and Milo, they compliment each other so well. Fantastic performances from two of the biggest staples in this genre.

A new series by Willow! Of course, I had to pick it up and I loved it. This is book one of the Windy Harbor series, and can be read as a complete standalone. Goldie is our FMC, an artist, a twin, with a large, loving small town family. Milo is a successful architect, with loving parents, and just so happens to be the architect to a new venture for Goldie’s father. Goldie and Milo had just so happened to meet at an art event, just before her father’s announcement of this project. Although, they shared a kiss, that night didn’t end well, and now they will have to be in close proximity, while working together on this family project. The banter between Goldie and Milo is so much fun! I love the set up for this new series and I can’t wait for all the other books in the series!

Great start to a new series!

small town, hate to love, forced proximity, workplace, all the family vibes

This book was so cute! I adored it right from the get-go and couldn't put it down. The small town vibe, big family feels, and of course, cannot forget small-town drama was just so much fun!

Milo is the perfect man, he is so down bad for our girl Goldie and he is relentless in his pursuit of her! I just adored how he fell in love with her and her family and her hometown. It was PERFECTION.

I adored all the small town drama, secrets, and rivalries and cannot wait to see where this series takes us!

I was able to do the audio for this one and Andi and Christian did such an amazing job of bringing these characters to life! They were easy to understand and sucked me right into the story!

Perfect start of a series!

After the single dad playbook series ( one of my favorites of all time) I was so excited to dive into this one! I love the little cross over we get, and it was so cool to be introduced to a whole new set of characters. These two had so much angst and loved the added suspense. I can’t wait to see more from this series. As always the audio of this was so good!

oh my goodness, i cannot get over how much i loved these two and the new universe willow is taking us on a journey in!! as sad as i was to say goodbye to silver hills i am SO ready & excited for what windy harbor has in store after listening to this 🤭

goldie was such a fun character and i loved getting to know her, theres just something about a sunshine girl with a heart of gold (haha get it) who becomes the biggest grump over a hot “evil” man lololol. she was absolutely hilarious and i am prayyyying we get to see her constantly through out her brothers books.

milo was also so much fun, he knew exactly how to push all of goldie’s buttons in the most humorous way. he was SUCH a sweet heart, one very specific scene comes to mind that just solidified him being a top tier mmc (he already was, but like this turned me to MUSH, when you know youll know). i loved that he let goldie believe he was the villain in her story meanwhile he was doing anything possible to make her life better & easier.

i feel like they fell for eachother in a very soft & sweet way and i loved that even though they had this softness to them their chemistry was still fiery and passionate from the moment they met. it was a really fun duality that they had to them.

one of my favorite things about willows books are always the found family aspects and in this were lucky enough to get to see how this beautiful family interacts with one another and cares for each other and they way that they take in milo during the process of project was SO lovely 😭

the narrators did such an incredible job bringing this book to life, this story was such an insanely good way to kick off a new series, i feel like im always chomping at the bit for the next book every time i finish a book of willows and this is no different. i CANNOT wait to see what kind of shenanigans her brothers get into and getting to spend some more time with such beloved side characters.
