I loved Karen Slaughters early books and my favorite series were the Will Trent books. It feels to me like she’s hit her stride again and I appreciate how her books suck me in, make me feel like I’m emotionally invested in the characters and what happens to them. Thanks for the read read/listen & please keep them coming!

Great Plot

Fantastic book, great twists and turns. One of my favorite authors and another well written, keenly executed read.

This story grabbed right away and kept me totally engaged the whole time. Maybe a sequel ???

Sometimes characters hard to follow

I really enjoyed the book it kept me reading it was the second part of her first one pieces of her which I believe you should read first as it explains a lot of things during this book that relate back to that book sometimes the characters were hard to follow as there were so many of them so you do need to pay attention to each character and their name overall I thought it was a great book.

Great story

This was a good book. Not your typical female law enforcement officer getting trapped etc.
