A killer time travel adventure

This is a fiercely creative, outrageous adventure of loss and triumph. A town tumbling out of control through time and powerless to protect itself from the perils of each time period it is exposed to. The only thing more terrifying than what we know about the past is what we don't. Owen McCoy and the rest of Black Creek get the ultimate history lesson while learning even more about themselves in the process.

Though the adventure is exciting and fun, the ending of the book is exceptional. The way everything comes together is not only satisfying, it's a special treat for fans of Robinson's other stand-alone novels.

This was the first book I've read by Jeremy Robinson and it certainly won't be the last. Well paced and engaging, asking a number of fun "What ifs" while posing strong questions about reality and what makes us who we are. Kept my interest and made me want to keep listening to find out what happens next. Definitely worth your time / credit / Dollars. The reader is good if not exactly doing a lot of "voices". Keeps the story interesting and fun to listen to. No sex, but considerable violence, though not overly gory, a lot of unnecessary swearing but not nearly as bad as some, 9 out of 10.

Even backwards this was still amazing

I'm playing catch-up on the Robinsonverse and have definitely not read all of them in the preferred order. I only have "The Order" left as of this post, but "Flux" definitely sits at top 3 for me; what a ride. Great story telling, great emotional hooks, overall solid characters(x2), wonderful scene changes, and a nice lead into more to come.

I do always prefer RC Bray; however, Kafer still provides a worthwhile telling with the ability to distinguish most characters from one another.

Definitely worth the Credit or Purchase.

A complete story

Adventure, suspense and humor. I enjoyed all of this wonderful tale. I would recommend this.

You never know where Robinson will take you

As with almost every book by Jeremy Robinson I've listened to this one is no exception and is a fantastic ride into the unknown. I will be listening to this over again to pick up all the bits I might have missed since there are just so many twists and turns.

better than I thought

the description gave me doubts but the author produced a fun and entertaining work. the voice performance was adequate even if it was stuck on one note of mild exasperation

A new twist on time travel

Good story, decent characters, if you enjoy Journey to places you've never been it might just like this book.

Wonderful time travel story that I bet HG Wells would have enjoyed! I almost wish it were a series, but the story was aptly told in one book.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ride! Loved the humor mixed in with the wild events and the narrator did a great job.

The debatable review

The performance was excellent. I felt the character development and continuity were middle of the road because the actions characters took either did not reflect their development to that point or were not conceivable even through suspension of belief. The detail in the writing was excellent, though, so a positive there, and the rationale for the villain’s master plan was original. The author seemed to lose track of the character threads at key locations and relied on an astonishingly adaptable Cherokee to pull it back together. A relatively entertaining listen for long walks while trapped in quarantine.
