Story
Mysterious gateways are appearing throughout the universe, bridging violent civilizations, leading to war, and sowing chaos. While some species succumb to the pandemonium, the Chut’un forge an unholy symbiotic relationship—The Order—with red Europhids, a vast hive intelligence populating the universe’s far reaches. Story
Lost in time, the town of Black Creek, Kentucky becomes home to temporal layers of people, creatures, and monsters from disparate eras. Journey beyond the time of humanity and witness the rewriting of mankind’s genesis. For Owen McCoy, a typical day on the job as head of security for Synergy, a research company conducting mysterious experiments, is boring at best. And that’s the way he likes it. Patrolling the Appalachian mountainside, where his now deceased father taught him how to hunt, is relaxing and connects him to the past.

Freeman is a genius with an uncommon mixture of memory, intelligence, and creativity. He lives in a worldwide utopia, but it was not always so. There was a time known as the Grind - when Freeman's people lived as slaves to another race referred to simply as "Master". They were property. But a civil rights movement emerged. Change seemed near, but the Masters refused to bend. Instead, they declared war. And lost. Now, the freed world is threatened by a virus, spread through bites, sweeping through the population. Those infected change - they are propelled to violence, driven to disperse the virus.

Five years ago, the US Space Force became a reality. And while those writing the checks took things very seriously, the other military branches did not. As a result, Space Force was populated by undesirables. My name is Captain Ethan Stone, a decorated member of SEAL Team Six turned Space Force "recruit". Flash forward five years and between tenses. President West is in office. Power has shifted. And Space Force is defunded. With just a handful of us still living on base, we find ourselves being evicted. Publisher's Summary
The year is 1989.
Callsign: Dark Horse and his Marine Rapid Reaction Force team have been sent to recover a strange artifact near Antarctica’s Soviet-controlled Vostok Station. Confronted by a team of Ruskie Spetsnaz, a battle for control of the strange device, frozen in the ice, breaks out. But before anyone can claim victory, or the prize, an explosion of white light knocks the combatants unconscious and whisks them away to...
2989.
One thousand years later. Dark Horse, along with his teammate, Chuy, and one of the Soviets, Drago, finds himself in a future that is both impressive and horrifying. Humanity has left Earth behind and is rapidly expanding throughout the galaxy under the banner of The Union, a white supremacist government who racially ‘purified’ the human race hundreds of years in the past.
Living on the fringe of this twisted Fourth Reich society, Dark Horse - the only Black man in the Union - commandeers a vessel and scours the galaxy for his missing teammates under the guise of an Exo-Hunter, seeking out exo-planets to satiate the Union’s need for colonization. His search takes him beyond the edge of the known universe and into an interplanetary war, guided by a vast intelligence that’s been waiting for Dark Horse’s arrival - for a thousand years.
New York Times and number-one Audible.com best-selling author Jeremy Robinson takes readers on a journey to a dark and twisted future…and makes them laugh. Exo-Hunter is a lighthearted homage to 1980s science fiction movies that also looks at the dangers of white supremacy and the core values that makes it dangerous and the butt of the joke. In the audiobook edition, he is joined by number-one Audible best-selling narrator, R.C. Bray, giving listeners the most compelling - and most fun - thing to come out of 2020.

Don’t waste your time.
This book was terrible. I’ll fully admit, I’m one of those that reads the reviews and never leaves a review. Starting with this terrible book, I’m going to start leaving reviews. Maybe others will be saved from wasting their time with this book.
Love R.C. Bray. His performance was great, as always.
This book was lacking in excitement and the story was weak. Character development was non-existent. I felt really duped when I got to the end and even said “are you kidding me” out loud. It felt like environmental propaganda.

achievement unlocked: "Infinite" level awesomeness
Get this book! just do yourself a favor and pull the trigger now and get it. this is the best story I've listened to in awhile, and I listen to most all of the Robinson/Bray titles. I won't spoil it, I'll just say there's never a dull moment, the characters are full of life, the continuity of the story flows seamlessly without flaw all the way to the end. did I say get this book? get it!

Quit writing stories using media buzzwords
I feel like this book was already written and then a panel of people looking to cash in on 2020 headlines came afterwards and added a bunch of key buzzwords to a story that didn't need it.
I mean seriously I just started getting into the story and then... tada... racism, sexism, pandemic pops up and I have to suffer through a paragraph of that before it goes back to them story.
I listen to books to relax, not too get preached too...

Virtue Signaling
I liked his other books, Infinite, and it’s sequel. I also liked NPC. This book had the sci-fi appeal, but seemed more like a virtue signaling, left leaning narrative intent on further demonizing white people, with the implication that very few white people are genuinely good people. R.C. Bray did a good job, as usual, but the pandering that seemed to form the theme of the entire story detracted from its entertainment value immensely, not to mention the fact that Robinson apparently doesn’t understand how different shades of humans emerge, which kind of nullifies the entire plan his imagined Fourth Reich pulls off.

should have been epic...
question: someone asks you for directions, you tell them how to get to where they are looking for. later you find out they killed everyone there. who is responsible? you or them?
If you think they are innocent and it's all your fault then you might enjoy this book. that is if you also laugh while your best friend is being eaten alive.
there is a good story here but the author tries so very hard to make it cool it gets trampled.

First class space romp, with added Space Nazis.
Space Nazis, got to hate that right? This book wasn't what I expected to be honest, it's genuinely funny throughout and action packed as well. Dark Horse is voiced brilliantly by Lord Bray, and I suspect Jeremy Robinson chucked a lot of the accents in to either mess with him or to make it funnier. probably a bit of both TBH. Great characters, both main and background, a great story and humour. There has been some great main character portrayals by Bray, Gibbs, Sergen Jates, the Merry Band of pirates and of course the shiny ass hole himself. Dark Horse is up there with them all for me. I see it as the MBoP, Skippy, Jates and Gibbs had a night on the Tequila and this was the result. It's a brilliant book and I highly recommend it to all.

Hope it gets a sequel. Either way I have a feeling we'll be seeing these characters at some point.

I hate when you are given an episodic story with no warning, half a book, cut off mid chapter for no other reason that to sell you the next already written half of the book. well it's dumb decision and clinical and I for one will not be buying more.

Jeremy Robinson and RC Bray as excellent as ever
Well the Nazis are back and Exo hunter and his team are not putting up with their shit. This is a great boys own action adventure for grown ups, I thoroughly enjoyed the story by Jeremy Robinson and most of all the narration by RC Bray (I'm a bit of a fanboy, he can do nothing wrong in my eyes) brining the characters to life, I can't wait for book 2

Sci-fi and my favourite narrator!
Very good story. Big fan of RC Bray (who always makes books sound amazing). This is a fun book with a sci-fi future story and some comedy. Buy yourself this book and enjoy it ;)

Best one yet
This book is epic and was great to listen too, it has everything you need. 80's Music, Space stuff and R.C Bray. It's like an epic dose of nostalgia mixed in to what someone from 1938 thinks the future might be.
Do your self a favour and feed your ears this one..

Don’t bother
Terrible premise, awful narration, bad story and poorly written.
Returning this book as it really is that painful to listen to.

Loved it!
This story has a few of the elements of Jeremy Robinsons The Last Hunter - but its much much better! It makes you laugh, makes you angry, makes you feel good plus the sci-fi is believable... for a sci-fi fan that is :)
I loved the 80's song and movie references.
This was a great story - if you like sci-fi and the 80's and you have a mad sense of humour then you have to listen to EXO Hunter!

Totally rad !!
Great book. If Exo Planets interest you. And your also a fan or a child of the 80s than you will like this book. Plenty of action and adventure and good laughs. Bray reads a Robo novel like a champ.
