Good Read with different twist!

A mixture of a Kwan novel and the movie Menace to Society. With a springle of Whida Clark.

this book is the truth

Would you consider the audio edition of Trust No Man to be better than the print version?

Yes, I feel the narrator really brought it to life

What other book might you compare Trust No Man to and why?

I read many and you can compare it to the likes of K'wan, Ashley and her husband, noire and wahida because it's real, descriptive and keeps you coming back for more.

Which character – as performed by Brandon Rubin – was your favorite?

I really loved the voice of rich kid. He sounds just like a friend of mine.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

everyday grind in search of trust you will not find

Boring

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If you've never been to the hood or was not raised in the hood, this story may interest you. But if thats not the case this will bore you to death! It's the story of the most average and basic hood guy.. Woman bashing, hustling, baby having black kid.. snooze feast!

TOO slow

I couldn't really get into it bc it was too slow. It really was a average story line with no climax at all. the narrator keep changing voices. most sequels I buy but this is want bc it's too predictable of a story line.

Not The Best

A little slow. But turns out to be interesting if you can force yourself to keep listening. I've heard that Book 2 is much better.
